Bought this hair dye on sale at Shoppers, think it was only $5 or $6 so great price! But I felt like I ran out of both the hair dye and conditioner too quickly. I rarely run out of dye when I colour my hair but I did with this box. So unfortunately for me, not all of my grey hair was dyed. The conditioner was gone after 2 applications and with other boxes, I can condition my hair 3-4 times with their included product. At the end of the day, I got what I paid for. I'll be switching to another brand next time so I can fully cover my greys plus get an ample supply of conditoner!
Maybe not the best hair dye.
Something about my hair is that it always has a copperish undertone once I box dye it. This time was no different. I picked 59 medium brown and my sister earned me that it may be too dark, but that was my aim, have dark brown hair. My hair instead has a reddish tint too it. I do have color treated hair, but it's been over 4 months since the last time i dyed it. I also am one of those people who follow instructions to a T, yet no luck. I don't think this was for me.
Covers grey great.
I don't colour my hair often because I hate fussing with mixing and smell of most products but I found product very easy to use. It covers grey and the colour comes out as you expect it to. . Would definitely buy again and recommend to anyone.
I have used most brands of hair dye and thought Belle colour was pretty decent, especially for how affordable it is. The reds are especially pretty. Not too damaging either
I've used Garnier Belle Color a couple of times in the past few years and have liked the results for the most part, tho I found the blonde shades I've tried tend to look brassy four or five weeks after application.
This is a permanent color, but I find it doesnt penetrate grey hair as effectively as other box colors. It all depends on the severity of your grey, whether you have more than 25% and how resistant it is (meaning wiry and more coarse). It is very affordable though. Usually $5 regular price at the grocery store. The box is smaller as well, so you might need 2 boxes as I did even though my hair is shoulder length and fine. The color result however is quite brilliant and rich. It is also very easy on the hair.
Tip:: On the developer bottle in the box (usually labeled with a number 2 meaning second step) it will either say 20V, 30V or 40V. The higher the number the stronger the developer and the higher the number the more inclined to cover strong resistant grey for a fuller coverage.
It worked ok. Wish it cleaned up easier. Seems to be a nusance while using. Very messy. It smells nice but be sure your fan is working well in your bathroom because the family may find it a strong smell.
The best product for my hair. It protects from the dryness, covering all the grey and the price is the lowest. The choices of colors are very interesting. My hair is healthy and beautiful.
The blonde colours work quite well, but I didn't find that the darker colours lasted very long. I did find that it dries my hair out more than other brands of hair colouring, but I still think that it's quite good for the price.
