This new product in the Garnier line is just wonderful. I was searching for lotion that would help keep my skin hydrated all day long and keep it soft. My problem areas are my feet and hands. I have extremely dry skin and during the winter months it gets worse. I was lucky enough to try Garnier's Mango oil version and it delivers what it claims. I love the soft mango fragrance. It soothes the dryness and itchiness. It re-hydrates my skin and keeps it this way for a long time. I use it daily and it works wonders. I fully recommend this product to anyone who suffers from extreme dry skin.

This lotion is really nice. I found it to be very moisturizing, and left my skin feeling very soft. Especially my elbows! I received a sample from Garnier, but haven't gotten around to checking it out in stores yet.

I really like this hand cream it works great for my skin. I got a FPC and choose the honey kind and wow smells amazing and goes on nice and smooth. It's not greasy at all my skin soakes it up and keeps my hands hydrated for a long time. This is my new cream for me the price is around the same as all the others and it works better. I do recommend to family and friends and will re buy this when i run out.

I got a coupon for a free full sized bottle due to a glitch from a contest on their facebook page.

I got this in mango and I have to say I'm impressed with the scent, it isn't fake mango it's just a nice hint of sweetness and quite floral.
The lotion itself is quite nice, I liked that it was quite moisturizing and absorbed well into the skin. It's expensive compared to similar lotions, vaseline intensive moisture (my go to) is quite similar and I get 3 bottles at costco for $10.

Try it if you're a product junkie but it isn't going to change your life.

I got a free bottle of this product as an apology for a glitch in one of Garnier's contests but unfortunately, I can't say that I'm too impressed with this product. My mom also got a free bottle, so I got to try both the Cocoa Butter and the Mango Oil kinds.

I found the scent of the Cocoa Butter to be much heavier than expected (not exactly a pleasant feeling), though the Mango Oil smelt quite refreshing and nice. Also, the Cocoa Butter lotion was on the thicker end of the lotion spectrum, while the Mango Oil one was just the opposite - quite runny. But for either lotion, I didn't feel like my skin was extra-hydrated or anything like that. My legs aren't particularly dry, even in the winter, but applying this "Intensive" lotion didn't feel any different from the other lotions I've applied before - not when I applied it, not when I woke up in the morning, and certainly not a few days later.

In fact, I read somewhere (but take this with a grain of salt) that the "7 days" claim didn't mean that it would hydrate your legs for 7 days (which actually sounds a bit too ridiculous to be true in the first place), but rather, that if you continued using it for 7 days straight, you'd see results. Yeah, apparently it's this clever marketing tactic that most people fall for. You can decide if you believe it or not...

In short, I think that there's nothing special about this lotion and that if it's not on sale, it's pointlessly overpriced (or is the pointless portion already included in "overpriced"?) Anyways, I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy this product - there are tons of lotions out there, and there are definitely some that moisturize better than this product for less!

Wow. I always try body lotions and end up tossing them to the side since I either forget to put it on or it doesnt work that great for me. I started using this yesterday and I have to say..this is AMAZING. I work with children so I'm constantly washing my hands. As a result, my hands would be so dry they would crack and peel (super gross). I even tried vaseline to keep my hands moisturized, but after washing my hands so many times with soap, whatever I put on to protect my hands just come right off.

So anyway, last night I put this stuff on my hands before I went to bed. Today I went to work as usual, washed my hands like crazy since the kids were sick, and when I got home after working 10 hours, I found that my hands were STILL soft and moisturized from the lotion. I will keep using and see how much it helps after 7 days.

The Garnier Body Intensive lotion is just that: intensive. It's super moisturizing and smells great! But it's pretty pricey.

Does it work? Sure, it moisturizes just great. But so do most lotions. If you can get it for cheap (or for free) then definitely use it. But... if you're paying full price (around $7-$10) you're probably better off with another product.

I'm using the mango oil 400 ml, a FPC generously sent from Garnier. So I read the many claims on the back of the bottle such as skin is hydrated after 24 hours, 4 weeks of use long lasting moisture remains even 7 days after last application, after 7 days of use -49% dryness, -25% roughness, etc. So I've been using it everyday for 4 weeks. My skin isn't dry throughout the day, but it is after I shower, & after I wash my hands, so does that mean the moisture has not remained? My skin doesn't feel any softer or suppler than it normally feels using any lotion. I chose the mango oil bc it's a different scent from any lotion I've used. It does go on oily, but luckily it doesn't leave my skin greasy. The scent is nice & mango-y, but it doesn't linger.
I think there is only so much a lotion can do, there are only a certain amount of ingredients you can use in lotions of a particular price range. I realize new products need to get people to buy saying they are better! BeTtEr! BETTER! However I don't buy all the claims, but I would buy the lotion.
