I've been lucky enough to be a product tester for Garnier Fructis Color Shield Instant Color Sealer (as well as the colour, shampoo and conditioner). I have to say I'm totally in love with this product and will continue to buy it!! I've never used a colour sealer before, so I didn't know what to expect. The bottle says it has UV filters and acai berry & grape seed oil. My hair feels really soft and I do believe the colour is lasting longer than usual. I really, really recommend this product, and I'm so happy that I was lucky enough to be selected to try it. Thank you so, so much, Chick Advisor; I'm a true believer in Garnier Fructis!!!!

I've never used a colour sealer, but it does make the colour stay in better. Using the whole system with the colour system impeded on my routine, but it was worth a try. The smell wasn't bad or anything, so tolerable enough.
I suppose that, using a product system might be easier for others, but I prefer doing things the way I am accustomed to.
Overall, good price and quality, and effective. It helped me keep the colour in longer.

I didn’t like this at all. I didn’t find that it made any difference in my hair from the first time I dyed my hair and just used my usually hair care products. In fact after I put the color sealer on my wet hair, it made my hair a nightmare to comb through and made my hair feel greasy, not soft like some other ladies have said it has done for them. I also didn’t care for the smell that it left behind.
I wouldn’t bother to spend the extra money on this product because I didn’t find that it did my hair any good at all. I stopped using all of the color care products yesterday and went back to the products I was using before I was asked to try these out. My hair now feel and looks great, it’s soft, it stays put any my color has a wonder shine to it.
If anyone would ask me about the sealer I would tell them how it worked out for my long hair and my type of hair and to do some reading about these products. To find out what other people think of it before they go out and spend the extra money on it. I’d also tell them how it worked out for my long hair and let them know that it may just be my hair type that doesn’t care for these products, that their hair type just might love it.

I just loved this product! It was easy to use and a little goes a long way!! I loved the way it smelled and it made my hair feel soft and shiny. Not only did I feel like I was protecting my colour but I also felt as though my hair was being nourished. I would be tempted to use this product even if I didn't colour my hair!!

Acai berry and grape seed oil are supposed to be terrific antioxidants so I wanted to see if it would make any difference to my hair. I wasn’t sure if this product worked as a leave-in conditioner or a hair gel, so I gave it a try to see what happened.

I styled my hair as usual after applying a small amount to my damp hair. My hair was soft and shiny all day. I’m hoping that the UVA & UVB Protectant helped to protect my hair while I was outside. Together with the shampoo and conditioner, I found that these colour shield products really helped my hair colour to last longer. I’m now a fan!

Garnier Fructis Color Shield Instant Color Sealer is to me more like a gel and i used it after i shower into my damp hair.
I made sure i brushed my hair through because if you don't it is like gel and you will have hair in thick gel spots.
Once brushed through or blown dry it is better.

Tried the whole set and loved it..
I'll be using it as long as they produce it.
My hair is not fuzzy anymore, smells good, and shines like it is in commercials..
And I love the fact that it is a big bottle!
I used this product with Garnier Nutrisse Cream Hair Color (Truffle shade) and Garnier Fructis Color Shield Shampoo.

Thank You Chick Advisor and Garnier for the opportunity to test this product.The Color Shield and Shampoo/Conditioner and my second box of hair color arrived just over two weeks ago.I had been so anxious to test these products as I had very good results with the hair color and now know this is the hair color I will be sticking with to cover my grays,so I want to use products that are going to lock in the color and compliment the hair color ,also make my hair the best it can be.They have had a huge display of the color shield and Shampoo/Conditoner at Walmart for over a month now.So every time I walked by it it really caught my eye the green on pink bottle defiantly stands out.Well of course I had to smell the product I think that everyone does that in stores before purchasing as you dont want some product that stinks and can clear a room!I really like the smell it reminds me of a crisp juicy apple,very fruity smelling very light.I'm also almost always sold on a product if i see theres something beneficial or healthy in it.So seeing that it has Acai Berry and Grape Seed Oil and Uv filters is a big bonus for me!My color had faded just a little after about 2 weeks with the first box nothing dramatic however.So with application of the second box and waiting two weeks to submit my review I'm really happy with the results!I like to wait to see what long term results there will be with any product ,two weeks I believe is a decent amount of time to get some real results.My hair is short so I dont need much of the color shield just a drop goes a very long way.I have sensitive skin and scalp so I found the color shield actually really soothing on a usual itchy scalp.It is also super lightweight,soft and feels really strong and smooth and lets not forget that smell!My boyfriend told me I smelled good on a day I was not wearing perfume so kudos on such a great smell.Its also so smooth this sealer if you just try a small amount on the back of your hand it honestly feels like silk so I'm sold on what good its doing for my hair.As I mentioned love the fact it has the Grape Seed oil which is so good for strengthening hair follicles .Grape seed Oil is actually better then Vitamin C and full of minerals and vitamins so I feel really good about putting that in my hair.The Acai Berry is a new popular one as well right now its full of omega6 and great for nourishing the hair.My hair is also usually on the dry side so the grape Seed oil is tremendous at stopping it from drying out.Its incredible how soft and smooth its is.Without this sealer my hair being short and textured would be sticking up in all directions like a porcupine.But its smooths it right out and I can style it really nicely.The color has stayed a nice light strawberry red and has not faded at all so I believe the sealer is defiantly doing its job.The color sealer is part of my hair routine now its so affordable as well that you cant go wrong with this product.So beyond it actually doing what it advertises in locking in my color it has also improved my scalp condition and is non greasy its worth trying this product I'm sold!Thanks again for a great product.

Just want to say thank you once again ChickAdvisor for allowing me to review this GREAT product!!!! I'm really digging the results and am officially in love with it! I was excited to try it it because I had never seen or used a 'color sealer" before. I find that it really makes a difference in my hair shininess, manageability, and feel. I also liked the product itself because it was light-weight, not greasy, and smelled amazing. I could go on and on about the smell. Half way through the day and I can still smell the delicious scent! I also see that really controls my frizzy, wavy hair.

The only downside was that I received this product about three weeks after I colored my hair...so it may not have "locked in and protected" the color but I still love it!
