I absolutely love this product. This is such a super great idea garnier has come up with for colored hair. All the ladies in the house tried them. Smell was awesome and its just the right shampoo and conditioner for colored hair. Though they may a little bit pricey, I believe there are still products out there that are cheaper that can handle the same job. This products just have cherries on their cake.

Thanks to the product review club for allowing to me test out these products. Originally prior to dyng my hair, my hair was somewhat shiny and smooth. I was afraid that the hair dye would ruin my hair however that wasn't the case. I believe the reason for this is in part due to this shampoo and conditioner. It kept my hair in it's original state. It smelled nice and kept my hair shiny, silky and smooth. The only problem I encountered was that even though both the shampoo and conditioner smelled great, it didn't last long in my hair and eventually the return of the amonia from the hair dye would resurface. I have always liked using the Garnier Fructis shampoo and conditioner lines and have found this one to equally great.

All of the Garnier products are awesome, and I've been a long time user. But this line is especially great because color treated hair often lacks shine and most products only claim to bring out that shine but don't really do so. Not only does this line increase the shine, but it also protects the fragile hair that has been treated. The price is unbeatable and the quality is great. The shampoos and conditioners smell amazing in the bottle, and the smell really lasts when its on your hair. I would recommend this to anyone with color treated hair!

I was lucky enough to be a tester for the Garnier Fructis Color Shield Shampoo & Conditioner. These products smell great, and my hair feels really smooth and luxurious. While the conditioner doesn't seem to be as great as the conditioner that comes with the hair colour, it's still pretty good. If I were to compare using colour care products vs. non-colour care products, there really is a difference; the colour care products seem to be more gentler on your hair. Since I'll be buying these products myself, I would most definitely recommend them.

The smell was great, like many of the garnier fructis shampoo and conditioners. I'll have to say, that it didn't protect the colour in my hair as well as other hair colour products before. It may be because of my different hair length, because right now my hair is long. It lathers well and isn't watery, so that's a plus.
With the conditioner, I like how it wasn't too thick. With other ones I've tried, sometimes the conditioners are too thick and I'd have to use a lot to distribute it.
Overall the shelf price isn't too bad, it's worth the money because the shampoo and conditioner last quite long. I wash my hair everyday, condition every three, and do an oil treatment bi-weekly, so it lasted me quite long. For me, it would probably last through 2 hair colourings or so.

I really liked the smell of the new Garnier Fructis color shield shampoo and the way it lathered up for me, but my hair sure didn’t stay clean for long while I was using it. The color shield conditioner I didn’t like at all. It didn’t seem to matter how much, or how little I would put on my wet hair, it felt like there was nothing there by the time I was done putting it through all of my hair. While I was rinsing the conditioner out of my hair in the shower, I could hardly even feel the conditioner in my hair and my back and shoulder felt like there was a greasy film all over my skin. I would have to rewash just to get it all off of my skin. When it came to combing the knots out of my hair, it was a nightmare! My usually conditioner makes my hair very easy to comb through so this one made me feel like I was doing more damage then I was protecting any color, or my hair at all.
By the middle of the day my hair looked and felt dirty. So I tried just using the color shield shampoo and my own conditioner, but my hair still didn’t feel, or look right.
How ever I have funny hair and it’s hard for me to find the right products that work for me. My hair is very long and can be oily on the top, dry through the middle of my length and very dry at the bottom. After I started using the color shield shampoo and conditioner my hair would start to look greasy and I also would get static fly a ways when I’d brush it by the middle of the day. This would happen no matter what I tried. I didn’t find that it did any thing special to my dyed hair at all. In fact my own shampoo that I normally used before I even dyed my hair seemed to work much better for me. Maybe for some hair types the new Garnier Fructis color shield shampoo and conditioner will work, but neither the color shield shampoo, nor the conditioner is for me.
I would like to thank the lady’s at Chick Adviser for giving me the chance to try these products out.
Although they didn’t work out for me, I still had a great time testing every thing out.

I really like their products to begin with so it was no surprise that I really like this set off shampoo and conditioner. First off, the smell - amazing! It has a nice fruity scent which I really enjoy. Secondly, I do believe that it is keeping my hair colored longer and brighter. I have been using it for about a week and half now and I got a compliment on my hair - the person asked if I had just dyed my hair because she said it was rich and super shiny. It's been more than a month since I dyed my hair, so I figured that it must be the shampoo and conditioner!

I also noticed you really don't need much of the shampoo because it lathers like crazy. Always a nice perk. You also don't need much of the conditioner because I only put in a nickel size amount and my tangly hair and it brushed out with no problem! It also makes my hair super soft after I style it. I've never really used shampoos and conditioners for color treated hair but it makes a big difference. I recommend both.

I want to start by saying thanks again to chick advisor for sending me the free samples of the garnier hair colour and kit. I was very excited. I coloured my hair again with the Garnier when the second box was delivered and just like the first the result was fantastic. The hair colour really does smell nice and completely covers my grey. This time I also used the colour shield products. They are great! The shampoo and conditioner smell fresh and fruity. TThe shampoo lathers great and rinses ouot nicely. It left my hair so clean and soft and silky you could probably when in a hurry even skip the conditioner. The conditioner left my hair tangle free and feeling even better. The best thing about all the colour shield products is that you only need a little bit so they last longer. I have noticed that my hair is a lot healthier than when I coloured it in the past and I feel good about putting things that are good for me on my scalp. My colour has also lasted longer which is great because that means less colouring. I would reccommend this line of hair products, they are truly awesome.

The first thing I noticed about the Garnier Fructis Color Shield Shampoo & Conditioner was the great scent…so fresh and eye-opening first thing in the morning. It worked just like other shampoo and conditioners. I found that a single wash and rinse with the shampoo was enough – no need to repeat. My hair was smooth all day. I do wash my hair a lot and recently spent lots of time outdoors enjoying the summer weather. Nothing fades hair colour faster than the sun, but these products seemed to give me some extra time until my next date with the hair colour. Very nice.
