Great if you love Papaya!
I was selected as one of the ChickAdvisor Eco Box advocates. I received a bottle of Garnier Fructis Repairing Papaya Treat Shampoo for dry hair free from ChickAdvisor in the earth month essentials box.
I like the packaging, it’s right up my alley being 100% recyclable and made with 60% recycled plastic. I loved that it is an all vegan/vegetarian product and doesn’t contain bad ingredients that most hair care products do. It’s good for the environment being 94% biodegradable too!
I am not a fan of papaya in general so I found the smell not appealing. It smells exactly like the fruit which isn’t a bad thing if you like that scent! I did find that it didn’t lather much but I believe that is due to the lack of chemicals in the shampoo. My hair was soft and super shiny after one use. The fragrance lasted until the next day as well! If you like papaya this is a great choice for shampoo. I will be on the lookout for some other scents in this line of hair care!

Great smell and works great!
First off, I loved the smell. It isn't overly strong which is great but smells great. You don't need to use too much product either and I found it lathered up pretty good at well for an even distribution in your hair. Within a week of using this I found my hair to be looking considerably healthier. I would recommend this product for sure.
Great refreshing shampoo
I really enjoyed using this shampoo. The scent is fruity and super refreshing. It lingers in the hair for a full day which I love. My partner also commented on the scent and loved it. It cleaned my hair well - I have oily hair and use product and this did a great job of clearing up all residue. Will definitely continue to use this product. Thanks @chickadvisor for the opportunity to try this product. #freeproduct
Silk and strong!
I’ve been using the Garnier Repairing Treat Shampoo. I had the papaya scent. And, thanks to @ChickAdvisor, I got to try it for FREE.
1- If you don’t like a strong fruity scent, this probably isn’t for you. It doesn’t overpower after you rinse it out.
2- The packaging looks like a little smoothie.
3- Feels light on the hair, doesnt leave residu.
4- My hair doesnt feel dry or frizz.
love it but the lather
I love love the smell!! It’s clear and smells very fruity. Not so lathery tho; if you want more lather you should squeeze more! The first time I saw it I thought it's a drink because of its very cute and happy bottle!!
I love it
I would buy this product. This is the first shampoo I have tired on my hair which is so damaged and dry. That helped it a lot and the bonus is it's all natural and I didn't worry it was going to hurt my hair more. The smell was wondeful not overwhelming or anything. I plan to use this shampoo for awhile thank you so much 😊
Good shampoo
I started using this shampoo more than a week ago and I was impressed by how shiny my hair looked like at the beginning. It had lots of volume and was bouncy and healthy looking. After a couple more times, my hair is still shiny but it doesn’t have as much volume anymore.
I’ll keep using it Because I want to see how it delivers over a longer period of time.
I absolutely love the fruity smell and the packaging!
Amazing!
The smell of this shampoo is amazing, reminds me of being on vacation! This shampoo lathers and cleans well. My hair doesn't seem as dry and frizzy when I use this shampoo.

Smells fantastic!
I absolutely love the smell of this shampoo! And my boyfriend liked it so much he's started using it! I feel like it does a great job of cleaning the hair but I will say I have not noticed a different in the damage or dryness of my hair. Could just be that I am seriously in need of a haircut because of the pandemic though (as I'm sure we all are). I love that the packaging is recyclable and that the formula is vegan. I also love that it has no silicones, parabens or artificial dyes. I will say there was no symbol on the packaging telling you whether or not it was cruelty free though (just because something is vegan does not necessarily mean that they do not test on animals). As far as I'm aware Garnier Fructis is not an official cruelty free brand as they are owned by L'Oreal who does test on animals which is sad and unnecessary in this day and age. Other than that though it is a nice shampoo. I just prefer to use a brand that does not test on animals so I probably will not re-buy this one.
Love the smell
First of all I love the smell. It leaves my hair smell so good. Its able to last me 3 days without shampooing. I love that it makes my hair less oily and feels so soft to the touch. Overall an awesome product.
