Not bad, not great
My hair is very long and damaged (i.e. split ends!) and I was looking for a leave-in conditioner that wouldn't break the bank. I saw this at WalMart for less than $3 so I figured I'd give it a shot. I used it on my damp hair after getting out of the shower and brushed it in thoroughly. I have not noticed any remarkable improvements to my hair, but that may be because I desperately need a hair cut. It did make my hair a little softer and easier to brush but it ends up being tangled and in need of more product after a few hours. It may work better for those who either don't have a lot of split ends or for those who are using the whole Sleek & Shine system (shampoo,condish,leave-in). But I wish I had sprung for the more expensive leave-in that I originally wanted. I am not impressed by this product at all.
Not
J'ai essayée de produit produit parce qu'il était en spécial et je n'ai vraiment pas aimé. Il a laisser mes cheveux sec et ils n'étaient pas aussi doux que lorsque je ne l'utilisais pas.
not for me
I really didn't notice much of a difference when I used the Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine leave in conditioner. It felt fairly heavy and like i had a residue in my hair until my next shampoo. I've tried similar products that have performed much better.
Torn on how to review this one....
I'm on the fence with this product. I purchased this leave-in conditioning cream by Garnier a while back and used it for about three weeks, and have mixed feelings about whether I like it or not.
Pro's:
-tames frizz (HUGE bonus!)
-smells fantastic
-left hair feeling soft most times (see below**)
-good price
-product goes a long way
Con's:
-hair needed to be washed more frequently**
-made hair feel greasy on a few occasions** (perhaps I used too much of the product)
I still have some of this leave-in conditioner left, and might give it a go again. But I am not sure whether I'd actually purchase the product again. I think I'd be more inclined to try something else next time.
I would still recommend others try it. Everyone's hair type is different!
Heavy on my hair.
I wasn't a fan of this product. Left a heavy feeling on my hair. After one day it looked like I hadn't washed my hair for days. Very greasy feeling. Will look for a different product.
Does not work for really curly hair
My hair is super curly because I am of European descent. Many products on the market I feel are not designed for my hair. I feel this product would be good for someone who had wavy or straight hair but it does not work well, in my opinion, for curly hair. The smell is wonderful and I got many compliments when I used it! The issue I had is that it did not keep away the frizz and it made my hair very sticky. I felt like my hair was being weighed down and it was hard for me to get my hair back to being nice and bouncy after using this product. This is not an expensive product.
Leaves My Hair Sticky- But Tames Frizz
My hair is very curly, frizzy, and dry. For years, I've been trying different products to see what works. This leave-in conditioner smells delicious and I love the apricot smells it leaves lingering in my hair for hours. This product controls the frizz quite a bit but it also leaves my hair feeling sticky and heavy. The day after use, my hair is usually in a big knot because of the stickiness. I would use this again sparingly if I found it on sale but it would not be my go-to.
Not my favourite. Left my hair feeling greasy and heavy, even when I only applied a small amount, Not a fan of the packaging. I definitely prefer a leave in conditioner spray.
This product is awful for fine thin hair. Even with less then a dime size amount it left my hair looking greasy. I like garner products on a whole and I have no complaint about its effectiveness my hair was not frizzy or dry but it was way to greasy to go out with it in my hair.
I found this product made my hair look a little greasy when dry. I love Garnier products but this one wasn't for me.
