I was chosen to review this alongside the Fructis Color Shield products as part of the Chick Advisor Product Club was so excited since my hair needed colouring

I love the non drip formula, it was easy to work through the hair and one box was enough to cover my fairly long and thick hair, although it does have quite a strong smell which seemed to stay past rinsing. A big plus for me was the latex gloves, I hate those huge plastic hands ones. Like some others have mentioned in their reviews, despite rinsing for what seemed like forever, it did not rinse completely clear and that may be part to blame for the 'crunchy' feeling it left my hair, even after using the conditioner that came with it. However once I washed and styled my hair the next day it was back to normal.

I picked Blackcurrant and I love the colour, I have some grey around the part in my hair and I found those to be bright pink for a few days but they soon toned down and so many people commented on the colour.

On my second colouring, I left it on for a little less time than advised and after the water ran mostly clear, I shampooed and no crunchy feeling, so I would definitely use it again now that I have the timing for my hair worked out

I was chosen to try out the colour, shampoo, conditioner and colour shield from this brand, which was really exciting because I regularly colour my hair and was thrilled to try out an entire collection of products like this. I picked out the hair dye in the colour. "Roasted Coffee". When I received the package, I thought this colour was way too red for my liking, but I dyed it away to try it out, I am trooper Chickadvisor! Anyway, it didn't pull too red surprisingly, maybe it geled well with my hair, it looked really good.

The application was easier than most hair dyed that I have used in the past, it did not drip when applying and the gloves helped it applying it nicely. I like that this is a cream product because you can get it totally across your hair. Also the conditioning cream that came with this is large, which I love, I always look forward to the conditioning creams that come with hair dye, it may sound weird, but I find them so nourishing to your hair and leave it smelling amazing, this hair dye had a great one.

I would totally recommend this hair dye, I am already planning on what colour I am dying it next!

Thanks to the Product review club and Garnier for letting me try out these products including this one. I have never tried permanent hair dyes before. I liked my first hair color experience and it wasn't as messy and I imagined it to be. I read the other reviews saying that the smell was pleasant...Maybe it's just me and my sensitive nose, but I could smell the fumes and my eyes watered. Perhaps the other reviewers were comparing it to other dyes they've tried. In the directions, youre supposed to rinse your hair until the color of the water runs clear. That never happened, so I just stopped rinsing after 5-10 minutes of running slightly tinted water.

The the entire color shield line has great packaging, smells great and works well. My hair was healthy and shiny even before the color treatment. That was one of the reasons I have never used permanent dyes - the fear of ruining my hair. After a month or so, the color is still here, hasn't faded and my hair is still healthy and shiny. To be honest, there isn't too much of a difference between using the color shield and not using it. However, it might be because my hair is naturally dark (I chose the hair color: Sangria -a red-brown color) and the difference cant be seen or isn't noticeable.

My one complaint is that after dying your hair, you can still smell the ammonia in your hair even after a couple of washes. I am sure that is what happens with all permanent dyes, but it bothered me nevertheless.

Overall, I am happy with the Nutrisse Cream and am happy I was given the chance to try these products and if I were ever to dye my hair again, I would certainly go back to this.

I was so excited to be chosen as one of the reviewers from the Product Review Club for this product! I was a little apprehensive to colour my hair even though I do have a few greys. I'm so glad I tried Garnier Nutrisse as it turned out better than I could of hoped. The colour was exactly what I was hoping for and the process was fairly easy. I will continue to use this product and will refer it to my friends as my hair looks healthier than before I coloured it. Thanks ChickAdvisor for another great product!

I was fortunate enough be a product tester for the Garnier Nutrisse cream hair colour , shampoo, conditioner and colour shield. I've been using hair colour for years, so I was curious to see how this product worked. Overall, I would say the product is pretty good. I am more than 50% grey (I think!!) and it covered perfectly. As far as the Color Shield Shampoo, Conditioner, and Instant Color Sealer products are concerned they were fantastic!! I've never used a colour sealer before but I actually think it's helping to keep my colour longer!! My hair looks great and I would definitely recommend this product. I will definitely be buying it myself.

I was lucky enough to have a chance to try out the Garnier Nutriise cream hair colour , shampoo, conditioner and colour shield. I have been colouring my hair for years and I do have a lot of grey in it . My goal is always to have a natural looking hair colour somewhere in the range of what mine used to be. I got the chocolate caramel and it was an excellent match for me colour-wise. The colouring instructions were clear and straight forward. As far as caring for my coloured hair...I do try to use colour preserving shampoos and conditioners, usually what's on sale. Often I just use whatevers in the shower. So I have had problems with frizz and fading colour. I had kind of thought that goes with the territory of home hair colouring. I was really, really impressed with this colour care system..WoW ! I'm not sure if the colour shield is the "magic" ingredient or the whole system working together...but all I know is my hair looks and feels great. The colour still looks fresh after many shampoos and my hair looks and feels soft and shiny. Even before I got my hair trimmed (lots of split ends) I would work some of the colour shield into my hair in the mornings and it would completely tame the frizz. I will absolutely buy these products again. And I'm already spreading the word amongst friends and family.

i received this garnier nutrisse hair colour, shampooo, conditioner and colour shield through the product review club - yay! i thought the scent was pleasant (better than many) and i really liked the thicker cream for fewer drips and messes - bonus points for that! the colour itself was a good match for my natural shade so i was pleased with my choice, cedar. it did a good job of covering the greys and seemed to add a little extra shine to my locks. overall it was easy to mix and use and the results were very good.

the shampoo and conditioner smell great and, together with the colour shield, make a nice hair care team. i'm not convinced they do a better job of cleaning or conditioning than other products i've used but so far they seem to be preserving my colour, which is very important to me. i really like the colour shield! it's got a nice light texture and kind of feels like a serum. besides prolonging the life of my colour, the shield keeps the frizzies down and gives my curls a little extra definition.

i would buy this hair colour again for the thicker, less-mess formula and the grey coverage. the colour shield, if it continues to prove its effectiveness, will be a nice addition to my regime, as well! the shampoo and conditioner are lovely but so far i'm not sure they're the best i've tried. more time will tell.....

I was chosen to try the Garnier Nutrisse Cream hair Colour and the Garnier colorshield shampoo, conditioner and color sealer products. Let me start off by saying that I had some reservations about the products. The big thing was that they were enriched with avacado oil and fruit oils and my first thought was yeah like my hair needs more oil. Then my second reservation was the color shield products... my thinking on this was here is another way to get me to spend money on your shampoo and other products by telling me its going to make my color last longer and look better.... my thought was a shampoo is a shampoo and my color will last about 3 weeks no matter what. Right about now I am thinking I should be on that Jeff Foxworthy show... HI, I am Rainy ...and I am NOT smarter than a fifth grader,(lol). So I used the hair color and I found it to be wonderful, great coverage, pleasant smell, it looked beautiful I was impressed with my color and it was surprisingly soft and shiny. I used this with my regular shampoo and conditioner and by the third week my grey was showing a bit in the temple area and on my part... but still looked good and was shiny. So then the next application I used it with the color shield products. You couldnt get more skeptical than me.... I kept looking for reasons and ways that it wasnt working, but I have to say I was WRONG. My hair looks fantastic, it is shiny, managable,smells beautiful, I really like the conditioner and shampoo...but that colorshield stuff...it works I cant believe it but it works better than my regular shampoo and conditioner. My color has NOT faded it looks like it did when I first colored it, no signs of grey anywhere and I have looked and had my friends look but all they see is beautiful color and shine. I have to say I am impressed!!! I will definately buy this hair color and the color shield products from now on... I love the compliments I am getting.
