I would buy this product again
I hate box dying my hair, but this product didn’t kill my hair. It didn’t burn, and the color turned out the exact same color on the box. My hair actually felt healthy after
Tried it and so far love it
I am a brunette using Garnier Nutrisse Ultra color for the first time dye color 400 dark brown. I typically use a intense dark brown to make good coverage of hard to cover gray hair, unfortunately my color tends turn orange in the sunlight after some time. I do spend a lot of time in the Sun and I color often. Dyeing is not any more complicated than typical at home dyes, the smell is not offensive and the conditioner is nice. A little bit of bleed out the first few washes, really wish Garnier would make a sulfate free shampoo and conditioner for colored hair that has the benefits of UV filters. Time will tell if it ends up fading before the claimed eight weeks time, will buy it again if it lasts.
Bon produit
Came out too red
Garnier nutrisse ultra color is supposed to be for dark hair. I have dark brown/black hair but like to have reddish tones in it. This turned my hair way too red and gave me a red halo effect. I had to re-dye my hair darker because it looked so unnatural
I dye my hair frequently but all last year I didn't touch it so I was definitely due a change.
I had no high expectations but it does claim to lighten dark hair so I was hopeful for some colour
the cream didn't turn dark after I combined the chemicals nor did it rinse out dark which I was impressed with at first but I'd rather it be dark so I can see how well Ive rinsed it. My hair towel became stained and I had to spray it with some oxiclean after. I used up quite a lot of the conditioner it comes with just bc I know my hair would've been straw. I even used a serum on it while I waited to blow-dry. It dried well, with volume and manageable enough but not smooth. 2nd day and it reeks of chemicals still tho.
The colour itself as you can see unfiltered and under indoor light, it actually shows. I was afraid it would only show under sunlight but my skills are still mediocre as it's lighter by the roots and still quite dark near the middle or where the hair pools. I like it and would use again. However, it does NOT cover greys. It was $4 at a warehouse sale but retails $7.96 at Walmart.
