Worst experience ever

My hair had a very nice and soft texture but after I dyed my hair with this, the red color my hair nature is now completely dry and damaged and has split ends.

Just love how long it lasts and everyone commented on how fantastic it looks! Love the boldness it gave me! The colour outshines any vibrant hair colour out there. The conditioner that keeps it enhanced works well to keeping it soft but vibrant!

Did not change my hair AT ALL

I have been dying my hair for 20 years, and this dye did not work whatsoever. I had previous dye (month old) in my hair and roots over an inch.
I got the Red 76O which is supposed to be like a fire engine. My roots remained brown and the rest remained the same washed-out dye from before. I normally use Feria Power Red or VS Pro Series in 6RR and will be switching back.

I have thin straight black hair that has been coloured for the past 15 years to give you an idea of what my hair type is like.

I coloured my hair according to package directions. To get good results, it is also important to pay attention to technique. I make sure all my hair is evenly covered, root to tip AND evenly saturated. Sometimes its good to have someone help with this part.

RESULTS: my hair is black so the colour doesnt look as noticeable as on the box except when the light hits it. Which is fine by me, otherwise i would have started by bleaching my hair first. My greys were covered but as they are naturally lighter than my real hair colour they created a bit of colour variation which i liked.


All in all, this is a good hair colour to use. The price is reasonable as well. I did have difficulty finding this precise shade as i tried two different Walmarts without success, a fortinos and then finally got it at shoppers.

I LOVE this stuff, low cost, lasts a good 3 months and longer if paired with garnier's color saving shampoo and conditioner. Also, there are so many beautiful and wild colors to choose from

This is not my favourite product to use when dying my hair. However, I needed a quick fix and on a budget, this did the job perfectly ! There was enough dye to cover my hair completely and it didn't cause any skin irritations, which is a usual problem for me. As for the colour itself, it matched the box perfectly for the first week or two but quickly faded. For something quick, easy and budget friendly, this product does the trick.

I love this product I have very dark hair so getting it to go blonde without using a bleach product is almost impossible I ended up with the color I wanted and it didnt turn out brassy

I recently bought both Dark Brown and Fiery Red in the Ultra colour series, and what a disappointment. Luckily I didn't spend to much, thanks to an instore coupon, and it being on sale, but it was such a failure. I normally love Garnier hair dyes, they usually have good staying power and last a long time, but within 3 days, and only one wash, my hair had faded so badly that i had to re dye it using a different brand. The colours were very pretty and vibrant for the 2 days before I'd washed my hair, but the experience has soiled my view of Garnier dye and I will not waste my money again.

Love being able to look beautiful and play around with my hair color, without the salon prices.. But still the same result... This product provides exactly that for under ten dollars!

I have brown hair but for years I dyed my hair black and this product was the one I used most. I also used Garnier 100% Colour but according to their website it is being discountinued. What is great about this product is that it does cover all your hair and it dyes your hair with deep, lasting pigment. It also leaves your hair feeling softer than before. Even the smell is pretty nice!

For a home dye at 11 or 12 bucks, this does the trick. I think with home dyes they are really only as good as the person applying it so I definitely recommend conning a friend into helping you out with this.
