67% OF CHICKS DIG IT
I'm always on edge when it comes to buying eye creams. I've had dark circles for years that bother me to bits. Nothing seems to really do the job; not even good ol' sleep! So when I decided to pick this product up, I didn't exactly have high hopes... Thankfully.
I would say that this product does work to some extent. I would say there was some mild lightning to my dark circles, but it wasn't a lasting effect, not even with daily use for an extended period. It did have a nice 'cooling' effect to it, and it might even be a good cosmetic to keep in the fridge to up that, especially if you are using this simply for tired eyes.
What I noticed more about this was that if too much product was applied, or too much dabbing takes place, the product clumps up as it dries, which is pretty gross. I also noticed that it smells a bit plasticky, kind of like the smell you'd expect from new Tupperware, but luckily it isn't a strong smell.
There isn't much else I can say about this product. I'll leave a few positives and negatives:
Positive:
Not too expensive
Hypoallergenic
Natural ingredients
Slightly decreased darkness on a daily basis
Felt nice
Easily absorbed when not over-applied
Negatives:
Didn't work well on deep/dark circles
Clumps up with too much dabbing or use of product
Smelled a bit weird
This eye cream for me is mediocre and i'm on the fence about this. It smells lovely, has great texture. I use a very very very little, rub it between my ring finger and then lightly dab it on my eye area. Sometimes when i dab it too close to the lash line, it does sting a little. it feel greasy on the hand but once you pat it on, it's light and absorbs really quickly. It does a really good job at moisturizing the eye area but i think it's cause a little some pimples around my eye area. I personally have sensitive skin, so that may be the reason. The sunscreen in the formula may have also caused it. Overall, if you don't have sensitive skin, this really does a good job at moisturizing the eye area. And bonus, this has spf!
