when I saw the pub on Olia, I was pretty excited to try it. The colors looked wonderful and without ammoniac, I was hooked. But then I bought it, and I was so disapointed!! The color I chose was almost identical to the one I always buy in another brand, I'm used to color my hair in my home so I'm not a debutant, but Olia didn't stick at all!! I had spots without any color and it looked awful. I had to go buy the brand I'm used to only to repair de damage. Don't ever buy it!
When this product first came out, I thought to sway from my Loreal and try Olia. Tried it, it did not cover any gray or make any difference in my hair. I have been coloring my hair 30 years and not once has this happened. Back to Loreal I went. Then I gave it another try 3 weeks ago, thinking perhaps I got a bad box. Well, suffice to say, still got nothing worth raving about. I'll stick to Loreal!
I LOVE this hair dye! It has such an amazing smell, so much so that even my fiance gets mad when I dye my hair without him now! The no drip nozzle is fantastic!
My roommates favourite hair colour by far!! Covers greys, not as pungent smelling as some. Good colour options too
I've used this hair colour for months now. The number one improvement over my old brand is that the processing smell is greatly reduced, as is any stinging/itching while you wait. The grey coverage is decent and the color retention is good.
ok so I don't normally use store bought hair color due to the fact that my blonde hair always turns out red for some reason. But I was broke and my roots were driving me nuts.
So i went to the nearest shoppers and found THIS GEM.
it went on great and even had stylish black gloves for application. it was simple to use and had easy to follow instructions. (with pictures!)
The after color conditioner it comes with made my hair smell SO fantastic. It completely eliminated the dye smell. Oh and it left my hair so darn silky and soft i was actually standing under the shower for an extra few minutes trying to get all the "product" out when i finally realized i wasn't feeling product remnants in my hair..my hair was actually silky soft for once.
Finding this great of a store bought hair dye has changed my life ( maybe a little embellishment) BUT i will be saving hundreds on salon prices from now on
Not to happy with this product. My hair was a dark to medium blonde before,I bought the lightest blonde they had. I expected to go a shade lighter. My hair didn't change much at all I left it on for about an hour. It actually looks a little darker, has a grey tent to it. Don't waste your money go with another kind. I should have listened to the comments.
I recently wanted to dye my hair but I was scared because of all the ammonia in some of the products, but when Olia by Garnier came out I just couldn't wait. I bought the blonde lightest shade. It turned out really well other than the fact that my ends had a greenish tinge to them and were almost see-through. (I had bleached my ends a couple months before hand).
I love the way my hair turns out when I use Olia! It doesn't dry my hair out as much as other brands out there, probably because it is oil based. The results also look really vibrant, as I typically go for the burgandy color. I definitely recommend this product.
