I've been using this as my main cleanser lately, and it's working well. My skin has been prone to random breakouts for a while now, but I'm learning how to control it with certain products, and this one has helped a lot!
My last cleanser was working well for removing makeup and did help treat any breakouts, but it is pretty basic, and didn't do anything to help the oily parts of my face. But since switching to Garnier Pure Deep Unclogging Scrub I've noticed the imperfections on my face clearing up and new ones occurring less frequently, plus my forehead/nose and chin are way less shiny and oily throughout the day.
The combination of salicylic acid and zinc seems to work for my skin so far, and doesn't dry it out too much (even when using this with the Pure Shine Control Moisturizer as well).
This is technically a scrub, but the exfoliating grains are very fine and don't actually scrub my face too much. I still prefer other products to actually exfoliate my skin about once a week, but for day to day use this gives a gentle scrub that just helps cleanse my skin really well. All my makeup is removed after using this, and my face feels clean and smooth, and looks way less shiny in the usual areas.
My only issue is with the packaging - I find the product comes out really quickly, and you only need a small amount, so it can be a bit wasteful sometimes.
Overall, this scrub is working so well for me and I really recommend it to others looking for something to help combination/oily skin.
I tried this because I normally love scrubs with micro-beads but I was less than impressed by this product. Like most other cleansers for acne-prone skin, it dried out my sensitive skin and increased the redness on any existing pimples that I already had which made them look worse. I did like the smell of it, and it might work on someone with less sensitive skin but otherwise, I don't recommend it.
