I am not a huge fan of this bb cream. I think the coverage is great, good consistency, but the color is horrible! It only comes in light/medium, and medium/dark. Neither if those work for that many people. I have fair skin, and the lighter shade was just way too dark. If you have the right skin-tone, this product would be great for you, but it just doesn't work for me
All in all a very average product. While moisturizing, it does leave my skin feeling a little greasier than it should at the end of the day. The texture is thicker than I'd like but does provide coverage if layered. One layer with powdered foundation works well if you need to leave the house quickly.
The only thing that sort of bothered me was how easily it came off with water.
I recommend this for those who'd like to experiment with Western BB Creams.
Good coverage but always made my skin too oily and caused breakouts or rashes. Unfortunately, I cannot purchase it again - as it started to make my skin break out. I have VERY sensitive skin. The scent also bothered me. Might work better for someone else. I prefer Maybelline Dream Cream BB
I have been using this BB cream for a few weeks and although I like it, I am not in love with it.
The best way I can describe it is a light tinted moisturizer - it covers a little, but not much at all. Usually when I wear it, I apply two layers to get a little bit more coverage, waiting a few minutes between layers. I do like the feel of my face after I apply it, feels lighter and nicer than regular foundation - also feels more moisturizing than regular foundation. It gives me a very natural look, you can't even tell I am wearing anything. I wear mostly during the day because I don't need heavy coverage, however, if you do, you might be better off with a regular foundation.
I got mine from Costco which is a better price than Shopper's or other drugstores. And the tube is huge - 75 ml, which is a lot more than any foundation or tinted moisturizer that I've seen.
Overall, this was an okay/average product. It had light - medium coverage and a nice finish. I don't like the shade selection (there are only two), because I don't think the product itself can cover the broad spectrum of skin tones they try to cram in one bottle (very light skin to medium skin). It was a little greasy, almost sunscreen like, and if you've got oily skin, expect it to slip right off. If you have dry skin, this might be exactly what's necessary for a little extra moisture from your makeup.
Would I repurchase it? Probably not, only because it was nothing special and there are a ton of other BB creams out there I'd like to try! Worth a shot though, if you're into BB creams.
So finally I got my hands on Garnier BB cream, a friend brought this to me from UK. I was really excited when I got it as I was dying to use a BB cream from so long! So this BB cream is in the shade Light, though it comes in 2 shades light and medium. It's a kind of tinted moisturiser. When I apply it on my face it gives a healthy glow to the face without feeling greasy or heavy on the skin. It does not give coverage to my freckles or acne scars, which was a little disappointing. But it does blurs redness on the face, but not the redness due to scars or acne. After applying it, your skin instantly feels soft and supple.
I have oily skin but the cream does not clogs my pores or make it oily. It only gives my face a healthy glow, just like my Luscious HD foundation does. But the coverage of this BB cream is almost like a tinted moisturiser. The scent of Garnier BB cream is just like Garnier Light Moisturiser. You can either wear it alone if you are not in the mood of foundation, or you can wear it under a foundation if you have very dry skin.
The Garnier BB Cream contains SPF15 which is a plus point. It means you don't have to wear a moisturiser, sun block and tinted moisturiser separately. You just need to apply this cream and you are ready to go. It's very good for college/university students for daily use. As we don't want to wear full make up when you go to study.I use it daily with eye liner and a little blush and I'm ready to go.
You can see in the pictures the glow it gives to my skin, evens out the tone and a bit of redness is also camouflaged but it does not cover my freckles and acne scars.
I have been searching for a foundation or tinted moisturizer for summer, and really, it's a hard choice.
My skin gets pretty oily throughout a busy day, and a moisturizer foundation sounded sketchy. I can't say that I love this BB cream because it is the only one i've tried, but for summer I think it would do just fine.
I've been using it for about 2 months ritually, and there has been no real difference to my skin, except that it is more moisturized than it usually is.
If you want to try this, then you better get more friendly with your pressed finishing powder!
I heard so much about BB creams and was super excited to try this one. Actually I had to keep coming back to the store as they were constantly out of the light/medium shade. I do use a couple of other Garnier products in my daily routine and even though the price for the cream was a bit on the higher side, I still paid it. I did like the smell and the texture was nice and smooth. However, the cream is way too dark for my skin, even if I love having a bit of tint on my face, this was plain and simple looking unnatural, like I had applied a spray tan on my face. I tired blending it for good 7-8 minutes and it still looked dark and orange on my skin. It was better if I mixed it with a little of my foundation but still I wasn't pleased with the results. It also felt a little greasy on my skin. It is too bad because I really was looking forward to using this product and it doesn't work for me. Perhaps, if Garnier can come up with more color choices, I might try it again. But for now, it is a no for me.
i started using it when so many people started raving about it.i bought it for 17$ and i felt like its nothing magical. It makes the tone even and thats about it nothing special a foundation can do that too.
