Im usually not a fan of SPF Moisturizer they usually make my face really have bad breakouts and always feel to heavy on my face.I do realize however being fair skinned and that I burn very easily I do need to be well protected with a SPF Moisturizer.I also realize as Im in my late 40s I really need to protect my skin.

I've been using this cream regularly after receiving it and only had one small breakout which for me is really good.I've found using this Moisturizer under my makeup before heading out and then using the Micellar Water to cleanse my face well before bed has really helped.

I love the crisp citrus smell of this Moisturizer it really has a nice clean smell.It is really lightweight on my skin and absorbs instantly into my skin and does not feel heavy or greasy.It feels so soft and velvety on my skin.It has really evened out my skin tone and is helping minimize fine lines around my eyes.

Some questions ChickAdvisor wanted us to consider are:

1)-How was your experience with this product based on the advertised benefits? (e.g. difference in skin tone, gentleness of cleansing, etc)
Advertised benefits listed on the Garnier site are:
• Radiant, more even skin tone.
• Smoother, more refined, even skin texture, reduces the look of wrinkles.
WOMEN AGREE***:
• 89% were immediately satisfied.
• 91% said skin looked visibly healthier and at its best after 8 weeks.

I defiantly noticed a more even skin tone
My skin is very smooth and most defiantly reduced the look of wrinkles
The Moisturizer is extremely gentle on my sensitive skin

2)-How quickly did you notice a difference when using the product?
I noticed a difference in about five days.With regular use my skin is looking better everyday.

3)-How would you compare this product to your usual skincare product?
I usually used a daily moisturizer and night cream a non SPF Moisturizer.I feel more confident about my skin now and the future of my skin using a Moisturizer with a SPF in it.It is very low 15 but I dont think my skin could handle anything higher so for me this is a perfect new skincare product.

4)-Would you purchase this product again?
I will purchase this product again you really dont need much a little goes a long way so the cost is not a issue it will last me much longer then my usual cream.I will continue to make sure I use the Micellar water as well and a night cream before bed.

5)-Would you recommend this product to a friend?
Yes I will recommend this product to friends.I have always trusted and loved Garnier products so there name speaks for themselves.

I personally do not burn, or dry up too too harsh compared to others, but I can tell if you do dry up instantly after the shower, this would be the product to try and use! It kept my face moisturized all day from morning to night. We are having rain at the moment, so no major sun to use it with, but even still I do prefer to use products with SPF in them so I know Im not ruining my skin to become leathery goodness. I truly appreciate this product, the smell is decent there is no harsh smell just a simple fragrance, I could apply makeup right away after applying it as it isnt greasy like some moisurizers, its soft and light and left my face super smooth.. Only down side is the price, Im not one to go for an expensive moisturizer but I think for the summer time this will be my go to product! THANKs for letting me try this product!!

My skin is very picky when it comes to moisturizers. I tend to breakout very easily, especially with moisturizers that have a SPF in them.

Surprisingly, my skin has been really happy with this moisturizer. I've been using it for the last week or so and my skin feels so smooth and is starting to look a lot brighter. No breakouts at all!

It absorbs really fast and doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy. I can apply my makeup quickly after putting it on.

It does have a scent, but I don't mind it at all.

The price is a little higher than I'd like to spend but I'd but it again in the future if it was on sale.

I am enjoying using this moisturizer as I find it is quickly absorbed and non-greasy. Works fabulous under my makeup and I appreciate the SPF Protection built right in. My skin has had no breakouts and the scent is just right - not too overpowering. After a week of use I feel I see a significant improvement in brightness and overall texture - so thank you for introducing me to this new product!!

I use moisturizer on a daily basis so have used many brands over the years. I must say this Garnier moisturizer is one of my favourites thus far! I like that this product has a pump as it makes application easy. The consistency of the moisturizer is perfect. It is a lotion but it's not too runny. It absorbs quickly and easily into the skin and is non-greasy. It is nicely fragranced with what I would call a green tea scent.

Within a few uses of this moisturizer I noticed how soft and smooth my skin was becoming. It made for an excellent base on which to put my foundation. I have noticed just a slight increase in the radiance and brightness in my skin. Hopefully with continued use I will see more of this benefit.

I do have oily and very acne prone skin and this moisturizer did not make my skin any oilier than usual nor did it cause any increase in breakouts. This is a moisturizer I would happily switch to and recommend to others. I do find the price high for a drug store moisturizer and thus would only purchase it if it were on sale.

I found that this moisturizer left my skin feeling supple and soft. I did not notice that it made my skin significantly brighter but it does have a nice sheen to it. It is an average daily moisturizer - I don't dislike it, but I don't love it. I don't wear foundation, but my friend who does, found that it made her foundation a bit flaky.

I am a little disappointed that it has only SPF15 - when I have a moisturizer that has SPF, anything less than SPF45 seems kind of a waste because I have sun exposure for a couple of hours while driving each day and SPF15 isn't really cutting it. In which case I'd have to wear my sunscreen with the moisturizer anyway.

I received the Garnier SkinActive Clearly Brighter Brightening & Smoothing Moisturizer as part of the Chickadvisor Review Club. I have been using this product for just over a week now and really like it. It has a light citrusy smell, and goes on evenly and blends right into my skin. It does not leave it greasy like most moisturizers do to my oil prone skin. The price is also not too bad, the bottle is decent sized and it will hopefully last me a couple of months. I also love that it has sunscreen in it which is great for my daily routine. The one thing that I don't really like is that its only SPF 15, I think it should be at least SPF 30 minimum even for a facial moisturizer. Its definitely one of the better moisturizers I've tried, specifically for the fact is leaves my skin super smooth and even, and non greasy. It allowed me to apply my makeup overtop without worrying about making my skin even more greasy.

This moisturizer has a quite strong citrus scent but it isn't unpleasant and it seems to fade on application. The texture is a moderately thick cream as I would expect from a lotion containing sunscreen. I have quite dry skin and I did find that it was fairly moisturizing. There was no white cast on my skin but it was shiny and I felt like I needed to apply makeup over it to tone down the shine. It seemed to be fine under makeup and it didn't change the wear of my makeup. Although I was a bit worried when I saw that this contains an exfoliating acid, I didn't have any issues with sensitivity, even on my dry cheeks. I have been using it for two days now and I haven't noticed any brightening of my skin but it does feel smoother.

Overall I think this is a good product but I do have two issues. The biggest one is the low SPF. SPF 15 is just not enough. I know that the recommended minimum is SPF 30 which is what I use for daily use. If I'm going to be outside at all I use an SPF 50. I think the low SPF combined with the exfoliating acid would be a disaster for me if I were to get any sun exposure at all. My other issue is the price. This is a pretty tiny bottle and if anyone wanted to use it as their primary SPF they would go through it in a very short time. I think that I will continue to use it because I like the smoothing effect but only on days when I'm indoors and not exposed to the sun.

I received the Garner SkinActive Clearly Brighter Brightening & Smoothing Moisturizer as part of ChickAdvisor's Product Review Club, and have been using it for the past two weeks. I am not one to regularly use sunscreen, which explains why I experience hyperpigmentation; however, I found this moisturizer to absorb quickly and not leave a grey film on my face like other daytime moisturizers with SPF. It did not leave my skin oily and worked nicely as a base before I applied make-up. I haven't noticed any brightening in my skin, but it may take some time for any effects to be noticeable. I'll continue using it to see if there is any difference in tone once I have finished the bottle. It's a bit pricey compared to other moisturizers with built-in sunscreen, but it seems to a decent job. I might buy it once I finish this full-sized sample, but will hang on until I see if there is any visible improvement in my skin condition. Thanks for the opportunity to try this product - and to introduce sunscreen into my daily regime.
