I love this lotion! It is thicker than normal but no greasy. I love that it has built in sunscreen which is important for your skin. My acne prone skin also did not break out from daily use. I will have to continue using it to see if it truly brightens or noticeable reduces the appearance of fine lines, but I definitely will be adding this to my beauty regimen. Thanks chickadvisor for allowing me to try this product!

I received this through the product review club. As I've gotten older, I've noticed that my skin has been appearing duller so I was eager to see if this moisturizer would make a noticeable difference!

I really liked the texture and feel of it on my skin. Even though it has an spf it didn't have that heavy feel that a lot of lotions have. Unfortunately the smell was too overpowering! I'm not a fan of fragrances in facial moisturizers. I don't understand the purpose of it and wish companies would discontinue using them. Other than that I really like it. It's hard to say if it's made a difference in my skin tone yet, since it's only been two weeks since I've started using it. It's loaded with good things such as Vitamin C, Vitmain E and Lip-Hydroxyl Acid, so I'm going to continue using this bottle. Because of the strong smell, I don't think i'll be purchasing it in the future.

Overall, I liked the Garnier SkinActive Clearly Brighter Brightening & Smoothing Moisturizer. I thought that the moisturizer itself felt soft,lightweight and not greasy (even with the SPF). I like how the cream absorbs fast. I also like how the SPF is already in the moisturizer, so I don't have to worry about the sun. The Garnier cream did actually make my skin softer. I don't know if I would say my skin is '"brighter" but skin tone is more even. The only downside was the strong smell.

This moisturizer has some claims on the box, so let's go through them! First, they claim that your skin will be brighter and smoother in one week. I have combination skin so I have some dry scaly patches. I found that if I applied a light layer, I needed to go back to reapply some dry spots. But after figuring out the right amount to use, my skin was indeed smoother and brighter all around! Second, they claim that it works well under makeup. While it is not the worst I've had, it does not let the makeup set very well. It's probably because of the ingredient used to give the spf 15. I tend to find that moisturizers with spf also smell very strong, This product is no exception. I only note this because a couple friends are sensitive to smell; the smell is somewhat pleasant.

I received this product from ChickAdvisor to review. I found it to be okay on my combination skin. It has an SPF of 15 and I prefer my moisturizer to have an SPF of 30 to really protect from the sun. I used it under my makeup and my t-zone was shiny by the afternoon. I can't say that my skin looks any brighter since I have been using it but it has been only a couple of weeks. I liked the nice, light, fresh scent and that it contained no parabens. I think it would be a great product to use in the winter when you want a good moisturizer and don't need a high SPF. It is also a great deal at around $20.00.

I received this as part of the Chick Advisor Review Club. After receiving this moisturizer, i have been using that every morning for 7 days. First of all, i like the texture on my face. It is not oily, and it is really smoothing to apply on my skin. I like to have moisturizer or cream with SPF with it, then my facial skin won't get spots. After testing for 7 days, my skin tone is more even, but i can't tell it is brighter or not, i think i need to use it for more weeks. I don't get any small zits after using that, so i like it a lot. I will recommend that to my friends because they can get pay less price on what they want.

I received this product as part of the Review Club. I liked that the moisturizer went on smoothly and absorbed quickly into my skin. At the end of the day my skin still felt moisturized and not oily (as I tend to get at the end of the day). I can't say that I saw any difference in a brightening of my skin. I have some sun spots and freckles and they appeared the same as before the product. I usually wear a moisturizer with a much higher SPF, so I am disappointed that this has the minimum 15 SPF.

Overall, it was a good moisturizer but I didn't see any noticeable change in my skin's appearance.

When I first put this moisturizer on I noticed that it smelled amazing! Also the pump allowed me to apply a little or a little more. I seem to always apply too much. Since using this product daily I have noticed that any redness in my face has lessened significantly. Also it seem as if my pores are smaller. Before I started using this product I had a few dry patches and they have also seemed to fix themselves since starting using the Skin Active moisturizer. I have to say that this product changed my opinion of Garnier. I never tried anything by them beforehand. This was the first time I've used a Garnier moisturizer. It is definitely becoming a part of my daily routine.

I love moisturizer with spf in it because I truly care about my skin and I don't want to get age spots or wrinkles - so it having the spf was a major plus for me!

I also have super sensitive skin so I was a little nervous to try it but this worked so well on my skin and exceeded my expectations! It went on smoothly without leaving any oily residue unlike other moisturizers that I've used in the past. I feel like it provided me with the coverage that I needed and it left my skin really soft too! I am thrilled with this product and I am so glad that I was given the opportunity to try it as I may not have purchased it before but definitely WILL now!

It feels great on my skin, and it really did look brighter. It had no heavy feeling and the nice light scent wasn't overpowering at all. I will continue to use it!
