I really liked this product it gave my face a nice glow. I used it under my makeup and feel it made me look younger. It went on smooth and there is a pleasant smell. I did break out using this product but cannot say it is from this product and will try it again in another week. Great product.

This product did everything that a moisturizer should, but i don't think its something that i would buy on a regular basis. I would use this product more if i am travelling due to the SPF factor. Thankfully i am leaving for the Dominican Republic in a week so it will come in handy. My face did seem a bit smoother and brighter. The cream was nice and light and did not have a powerful scent which was great. I would buy this as a going away/vacation necessity not for everyday use though.

I was given this to try for Chick Advisor and it is a wonderful moisturizer. It's nice and light and absorbs quickly into your skin without leaving a greasy residue. Has a lovely citrus scent to it that is very refreshing. However, I haven't seen any results as far as brightening my skin. Perhaps you have to use it longer to see any noticeable change ( I've only been using it for a couple of weeks).

My skin care regime is a detailed one for sure and with my cream it's the most important one this is the step that dose most of the work so it has to be the right cream for you skin type and it has to perfect those imperfections all day. Unfortunately this cream doesn't do anyone of these things. this cream itself is to light and watered down that the main components of the cream sit primarily on top while the skin just soaks up the water I'm sure this is good for some skin types but not many I believe this product is geared for younger ages 13-18 but not for the older 30plus as our skin types need much much more. As for the brightening part I just don't see it or even know if it actually does do this on any skin type. So if your looking for a cream that's gonna give you a lot and you in an older age group this product isn't for you. If your looking for teenage or younger then I would give it a try.

It's a decent moisturizer, it is lightweight and has SPF. I don't know if this is the first thing I would grab if I wanted brighter skin though. I use lots of brightening skincare, but this wasn't as effective or as immediate compared to Asian products. It's hard to say if skincare is working since you do need to use it over a prolong period of time to see if it's working. I will continue to use to the product to see if it does brighten your complexion over time.

I love that this product comes in a pump dispenser, especially since Vit C is one of the ingredients. This airtight method prevents the oxidization of the Vit C and keeps it effective longer.

The lotion does have a floral fragrance to it. I don't mind it and actually find it quite pleasant, but some might find it too strong for their liking. The lotion itself is quite light and absorbs well into the skin. I find that a dot of product on each cheek and one on my forehead is enough to cover my entire face.

So far, I haven't noticed any improvement or lightening of the sunspots on my face, but my face does seem smoother and brighter, but maybe that's because it is being well moisturized.

I recommend this as a really good moisturizer, but not one that would be very effective in lightening any dark pigmentation. Perhaps, if I use this for a longer period of time, I might notice more of an improvement. I'll have to give an update once the entire product is finished.

Garnier SkinActive Clearly Brighter Brightening & Smoothing Moisturizer delivers a product that is easy to use and is effective. I really enjoy that it has a very light fragrance, not too overwhelming. It goes on easily, absorbs quickly, feels light, non- greasy, and helps to minimize the size of my pores. I'm not sure about the price, believe it is a little pricey.

I liked this product. Makeup can be applied over the product with no problems. I like the size of the bottle as well. I liked the pump versus just a container that you have to put your fingers into. My face had a few dry patches, which this cream seemed to help with. Not sure about how effective SPF 15 is though?

I really liked this product. My skin is hydrated and I feel a *little* noticeable different in its brightness. I would recommend it because the price is ok.

I received the Garnier Skinactive Clearly Brighter Brightening & Smoothing Moisturizer as a member of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. The first thing I noticed about this moisturizer is the floral smell. I knew it reminded me EXACTLY of another product...Garnier Ultra-Lift Transformer Skin Corrector. As a heads-up for people who are sensitive to scented moisturizers, this product packs quite a punch in the first few minutes of application, then fades into a nicer, floral smell. This moisturizer settles in my skin quite nicely, it does not leave a sticky feeling once it's been throughly applied on the skin. I love that it has a bit of SPF (15) so that even if it's a little bit, I know my skin is protected from UV rays in the morning. The packaging is simple and convenient, just two pumps and it's enough product to cover my face and neck. I am looking forward to results of prolonged use, but so far, I am very satisfied with Garnier!
