I like the moisturizing properties of the Garnier SkinActive Clearly Brighter Brightening & Smoothing Moisturizer, but I do not recommend it because it fails as a brightening & smoothing moisturizer, as advertised. It is not overly scented and is a nice light moisturizer for day time use. However, I saw no results or improvement in the brightening/smoothing of my skin. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

I have been using the same moisturizer for probably a decade so it's hard to sway me away from it. I liked this product, it smells good, it's not too thick, it definitely cures my dry skin. It's gonna be my #2 favourite, which is pretty good!

I have normal-combination skin and this is moisturizer is light with some SPF in it. I like that the sunscreen scent is faint. I like the packaging as well as the pump. I did not need to use much on my face as it absorbs pretty quickly, thus it'll last me longer in terms of usage. To be honest, I did not notice any immediate brightening or smoothing changes on my skin. I did get a tiny bit greasier at end of the day which was fine. I think this kind of moisturizer will require regular usage (as in weeks) to notice visible changes. The price is ok for this product. I don't think I'd recommend it as it seems to be an okay product. I think I will stick with my usual brand at the moment.

I had high hopes file this moisturizer, but didn't really see any results.

I like the consistency of it and it goes on nicely. It is non-greasy and works well under my makeup. I also like that it has spf.

Unfortunately, in addition to not seeing the benefits I expected, the scent is overwhelming. I do t have a sensitivity to fragrance, but this was overly floral and made it hard to use.

I wanted to love this moisturizer but unfortunately I did not. After each use, it left my skin kind of oily and uneven. I am really disapointed. Maybe it is the sunscreen in it but my skin looked unhealthy (like I was eating French fries all the time). I had small pimples after using this moisturizer (and I usually add oil to my skin care routine and do not get pimples).

I received this product via Chick Advisor to try. I am unsure as to how i truly feel about this product at the moment. I find that it is causing some little red bumps on my lower cheek/jaw line BUT I am also 8 months pregnant so I can't for sure say that this is what is alone causes it. It moisturizes very well and it actually didn't make me greasy like a lot of facial moisturizers do. I intend of trying it again after pregnancy

I love products that contain SPF in them, since I often forget to apply sunscreen.This was a typical cream formula, one pump is good for the entire face.

My skin absorbed it nicely and it didn't leave behind a greasy residue. It hasn't been long enough to tell if it's doing any brightening or smoothing, however my skin does feel quite soft after using it.

In the winter, I usually get a few dry patches on my cheeks and a slightly oily T-zone, and I've noticed that my dry patches are not as visible. No real changes to my T-zone though (but it's not worse, so I'll take that!)

Well I'm more impressed than I thought I'd be about this moisturizer. I have slightly oily skin and I tend to just just, lighter, gel-type moisturizers, so using a cream with SPF isn't normally what I go for. This is a pretty light cream, almost reminds me of a lighter sunscreen in texture, you can tell it has some in it. It has a bit of a scent, but nothing to strong, a bit sunscreeny, but no like “tropical sunscreen”. So when I'm using it, I wouldn't use much, but you don't need much it sinks in pretty quick and good. I'm a little bit shinier right after applying, but I don't find that I'm any greasier by the end of the day, so that impressed me quite a bit. I didn't notice any brightening or smoothing, I feel like claims like that takes a good few weeks to see something if you ever do. I like that it comes in an easy pump and doesn't pump out too much at once.

I really liked the smooth texture, scent (although I find it a bit strong) and the fact that it soaks into the skin and doesn't leave a greasy feel. The container it comes in is handy to dispense the perfect amount.

After a few uses I like the feel of the lotion. It is not heavy on my skin and I like that it does have a bit of sunscreen SPF 15. There is a slight scent but not over bearing. I will need to continue using to see if there is any change to my skin tone.
