To be fair the product only showed up a few days before this review so maybe I haven't been using it long enough before having to give my opinion of it.
So all I can do is review it based on a few days use which in my eyes it isn't working. I will continue to use it in case it ends up proving me wrong but as of right now it is doing nothing for my skin. And for the prices I have seen it listed for it is not worth it at all.

Got to try this for free thanks to ChickAdvisor :) For a daily moisturizer, it worked just great. As well, if not better than my regular daily moisturizes that also has SPF protection. I found it actually helped me be a little less oily during the day than my regular moisturizer! I love that is is hypoallergenic and oil-free. I didn't notice if my skin got any brighter nor smoother, and in fact had some breakouts around the time when I was starting to test the product out (but can't be sure how related that is to the moisturizer or not). Other than that, the scent is a bit too perfume-y and strong for my liking, but the consistency is very thin so it makes application very easy. For the price point though, it is not great value as the bottle is quite small in volume.

Yes! Yes! A thousand times YES!! In case you can't tell, I love this moisturizer!! I have added it to my daily skin care ritual, bumping a different (high end) moisturizer right out of there. (So right away, I'm thrilled, as I will be saving around $50 a jar)
I love the scent (light and mild...but it's there, so please be careful, all who have scent sensitivities), I love how it brightens my skin! I love how soft my skin is now! I have had 0 break out issues! I'm a big fan of the pump, as it controls the amount of product I use...and a little goes a very long way.
I will be buying this product, and will recommend to all my friends and family

I received this product to review and WOW - I'm not sure I would have purchased it on my own but I'm certainly a believer now. I've only been using it for a few days now and I can see a difference in my skin tone already. In addition, the lotion goes on smooth and has a nice fragrance to it and doesn't leave a greasy residue.

I received the Garnier SkinActive Clearly Brighter Brightening & Smoothing Moisturizer to try as part of the Chick Advisor Product Review Club. Sadly, I was disappointed with this one. I really wanted to like it, as it went on smooth and initially gave a nice brighter tone to my face, but the feeling of tightness on my face as the day went on was uncomfortable. The concept of the brightening and smoothing was really intriguing to me but not worth the drying out it caused to my face. I tried to reapply in the afternoon to see if that helped, and it really didn't change much.

Perhaps, this moisturizer would work better on a different skin type, but it definately did not work for me. I would prefer another brightening cream to this one, onto the next!

I received this product for free trial from Chick Advisor. I have used it for 2 weeks and I love the effects on my skin. I am usually a little sceptical of new products, but this one works just as well as any of the big expensive brands. The product claims to brighten and smooth your skin and even though it's early days yet I think I already see positive effects. It might seem a little pricey for something you buy at a big box store, but the product is well worth it. I would certainly recommend it to my friends and family.

First off I love this products packaging. The twist pump is awesome no having air touching the proctor and, always the perfect amount to from the pump. My skin feels soft and supple after even a few uses. Only downside is it being scented. It isn't over powering but I prefer face products without a scent.

This is a nice moisturizer with a pearly finish, leaving skin looking brighter with a light sheen. It works well under makeup. It has a bit of a scent, which I don't mind but might be trouble for some. All-in-all a decent product.

I'm always excited to try brightening face products. Sad to say that after 7 days I do not notice any change in skin tone. However, this product does deliver in terms of its smoothing claims. It is easily absorbed and your face will feel soft and smooth. My favorite thing is that is not greasy and my face feels less greasy throughout the day.

Perhaps there will be mild brightening effectiveness in the future.
