I was needing a new moisturizer so this came at the right time! It is a light moisturizer but it does had hydration to my skin. It helped with the flaking skin and dry patches I have been experiencing all winter. It absorbs quickly into my skin and does not leave my skin feeling greecy or dry. My skin does feel smoother also. As for brightening, I am not seeing any difference to this. I have been using it for just over a week though. I am hoping with daily use, I will see some brightening effects as time goes on. It is also nice that this contains SPF, so I do not have to add this as another step to my morning routine. The less products I have to put on the better.

I noticed a difference with in a week of how much smoother my skin is and my dry areas are no longer an issue. I enjoy the fact that product doesn't feel heavy or like it has a residue on my skin. The smell is not my favourite but it is not overpowering. I will completely recommend this product to other and purchase this product again.

My y skin feel smoother using Garnier SkinActive Clearly Brighter Brfightening . It goes on my skin smoothly and doesn't feel greasy or dry, just right. My face looks brighter and healthier.

This is a great moisturizer. Feels silky without being oily/greasy. I do find it adds a sheen to my skin but without looking oily. I've only used it during a Canadian winter, so I can't make any claims about the SPF working, but having sun-protection is always helpful. I would recommend this product to anyone who is willing to pay the price, which I find to the only downside to this fantastic moisturizer.

1. How was your experience with this product based on the advertised benefits? (e.g. difference in skin tone, gentleness of cleansing, etc) This moisturizer made my skin feel instantly smooth. The lotion is a bit thick and needed to be rubbed in, but did not feel overly oily, which was wonderful. I didn't get to use this product as long as I would have liked before reviewing, but I did notice that my skin was starting to look more even.

2. How quickly did you notice a difference when using the product? My skin felt soft immediately. Within a few days, I started to notice a more even skin tone. I am going to continue using it to see if there is more change.

3. How would you compare this product to your usual skincare product? I stopped using a daily moisturizer recently but I think it's time for me to start again! I do prefer a moisturizer with an SPF of around 40-50 and this one only had 15, but if I continue to see improvement in my skin, it will be worth it to continue using it.

4. Would you purchase this product again? I would like to see the price lowered a little bit and the SPF adjusted. If I continue to see improvement though, I think I will continue to purchase it.

5. Would you recommend this product to a friend? I would definitely recommend this to a friend who wants softer skin!

I've been on a mission for the past few months. I want my skin to look good enough that I can leave the house daily with bare skin, and feel confident. This moisturizer has helped me achieve my goal. My skin is more even and smooth to the touch.
The lotion is white in colour and takes a few seconds and rubbing to disappear into my skin. The fragrance is slightly citrusy with a hint of that standard sunscreen smell.
When first applied there is a bit of tingling around my nose. This worried me at first, I've had reactions to brightening lotions before, though the ingredient that caused them was not listed on the label for this lotion. Fortunately the sensation dissipated quickly.
I've been using this lotion daily for just over a week and plan to use it until the bottle is empty. I'm still on the fence about repurchasing but so far leaning on the positive.

I like it has light scent and has very creamy-watery texture. It is light and easy to apply. After applying my dry skin feels hydrated . In a while my skin became a little bit tight but it very smooth and velvety on touch. I don't have much time to see a brightening effect but as a smoothing cream it works great!

It is good for everyday wear but I do wish that it contained more spf. Overall I would recommend it to my friends since I think it is a great product.

I received the Garnier Skinactive Clearly Brighter Brightening & Smoothing Daily Moisturizer as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. This moisturizer is oil-free and contains antioxidant complex of vitamin C and E. I like that this product contain spf 15 but wish that it contained a higher spf. This moisturizer comes in a pump form and you can control the amount of product you need. It contains a very strong but nice citrus-like scent. It is too soon for me to tell whether or not it reduces the looks of wrinkles but I can for sure tell you that it does make my skin feel so much smoother. It also takes away some of the redness on my skin and evens it out. This moisturizer absorbs really quickly on my skin. I usually opt for non-scented moisturizer because I'm afraid of irritations but this moisturizer did non of that. I have combination skin so by the end of the day, I felt that my nose was a little oily but all the other area of my face felt nice and smooth compare to other moisturizers which leaves my whole face feeling oily. I would definitely recommend this moisturizer and would probably purchase this again in the future. I would need to give it a bit more time to see if it would show the results as claimed. Overall, I really enjoyed using this product.

I got this sample a few days ago and have been using it everyday. It's great! It's not sticky and absorbs quickly. It's even better that it has SPF 15.
