The moisturizer is light weight and fast absorbing which is nice, most that have an SPF are thicker and heavier. I did find my skin looked brighter after using it. I really liked this product

I always use an SPF year round even in the winter. This lotion has a sunblock texture, but absorbs quickly into the skin and works well under foundation or pressed powder (I tested with both) it doesn't sting like some SPF lotions and doesn't have an offending odour. A little of this product goes a long way. I'm not sure if it brightens my skin as I don't see the difference myself, however it could have particles that are enhanced by natural light. I have been using this for a week now with no breakouts or any negative effects on my skin. I recommend this for not only the SPF protection that everyone should have at the minimum 15, but for the little goes a long way aspect of this lotion as well. I am thankful that I recieved this product for free from Chick Advisor to review.

This product works great as a moisturizer and sunscreen (it has spf 15) while fighting discolouration, so I was extremely happy to receive this from chickadvisor because I still have remnants of acne scarring from my acne-picking days that left me with chocolate chips all over my face. This product claims to fight these scars with it's vitamin C and LHA complex and prevent future discolouration with it's sunscreen factor. It is a bit on the pricier side in terms of drugstore skincare but you get what you pay for and the benefits definitely make up for the price in my opinion. When I use this product, I do notice that my face becomes smoother and softer, although I can't speak for it's brightening properties yet because I've only used it for barely 2 weeks, but so far, I like the immediate use I get from it after I put it on in the morning. Doesn't leave my skin sticky, heavy-feeling and doesn't leave a white cast. Would definitely recommend this product to those that are looking for a drugstore moisturizer with vitamin C properties (brightening).

i like the fact that it has SPF, so i don't have to apply so many layers of cream. although i prefer a higher SPF like 30 instead of 15.

after using it for a week, i noticed my skin is smoother and 'brighter'. the texture of the cream is smooth and easy to apply. very gentle and not greasy at all

I would say this cream is mediocre in terms of benefits compared to other drug store moisturizers. I have been using it for a couple weeks and I do like it but don't see any significant differences in "brightness" or the "smoothness". I feel like this is one of those products you have to use for at least 6 weeks before seeing any significant changes. The one thing I do like is the way my skin feels in the morning post using it at night before bed time!

First off, the price is horrible. Suggested retail is $20.99. In no way would I EVER pay that for a moisturizer by Garnier. If it were under $10, prehaps, but not $20.99.

The smell, don't like it. It smell like sunscreen and that's a smell I don't want to be smelling on my face all day.

It goes on nice, it's a bit thick, so a little goes a long way.

It didn't make my face break out which is nice, and it also did clear up my skin a bit.

Would I buy this again? For the price no, but if it was on sale yes. I do love my other face cream that I use everyday, but I'll use this till it runs out and then revamp my review.

I love a skin brightener especially in the winter because my skin is dull. This works alone or under makeup. It's not greasy and it hydrates my skin. So far so good. Excited to see the long term results.

LOVE THE SMOOTH FEELING AFTER THE APPLICATION. it is a great product to help my dry skin gets smooth and for makeup application. It is very gentle on skin and I can see my skin getting more radiant and smooth after a week use. Will definitely purchase this after I am done with this bottle

Tried the Garnier SkinActive Clearly Brighter Brightening & Smoothing Moisturizer as part of the Product Review Club and I loved it! I love how there is SPF in the moisturizer, yet it feels really light and non-greasy on my skin. It left my skin feeling light, smooth, moisturized, cool and refreshed. I also enjoy the light citrusy scent. :)

I recently tried Garnier's SkinActive Clearly Brighter for free as a member of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I really like this moisturizer because it's light and not greasy. I can easily apply my make-up immediately following the application of this moisturizer which I can't do with many others. The scent is nice and the product leaves my skin feeling nice and soft. I really like this product and it falls much more within my budget than other equally great moisturizers.
