As a chickadvisor reviewer i was lucky enough to get picked to try out this great new product - it works really well for me as i am lazy about taking my makeup off at the end of the day. Due to the fact that all i need is
Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water and a couple of cottons balls i find it very convenient to use and made my face feel clean and refreshed after using. I will be a lot more likely to clean my makeup off now because of this great new product.
I got to test and review this product for free thanks to ChickAdvisor. I am VERY impressed with this all-in-one cleansing water. You simply need to soak the micellar water up in a cotton pad and it helps remove all of your makeup, including waterproof mascara and eye liner, which is what I usually have the most trouble removing. While the instruction says that you do not need to rub, I feel that you definitely need to gently rub in order to remove all makeup. This cleanser is super gentle and does not irritate or dry out my skin. It is very similar to Bioderma but at a much more affordable price. I highly recommend this!

I received my product on 02/15/16 and intend to write another review after a more extended use. I loved how gentle it was on my skin, I use it to clean my face at night (even if I don't have any makeup on). It works great for an every day face cleaner. As for removing eye makeup, it does come off, however I found I had to use a fair amount for it to really work. I haven't had any problems with skin irritation or breakouts and it leaves my skin feeling soft and dewy. For $10 it's defiantly worth a try.

I had long been interested in trying out a micellar cleanser as I've heard a lot about them - gentle, one-step cleansing that can even remove makeup! Unfortunately, I did not find this product to be worth it for me. While it is certainly gentle, I did not find it to be as effective as I would have hoped. I have combination skin which can be subject to hormonal acne - this may work better for a different skin type or for someone with different concerns (mine are acne control and anti-aging at the moment).
On the positive side, this is easy to use (just put some on a cotton pad and rub over your face), does not have much of a scent, and is quite gentle (CosDNA shows only one potentially troubling ingredient - hexylene glycol, rated a 2 as an acne trigger and a 1 as an irritant). I did not have any breakouts or reactions to this product. While the packaging claims that this can be used to remove makeup and cleanse skin without any other steps, I found that I was most comfortable using it in the morning when I simply had to remove my nighttime moisturizers and sleeping pack. The price is also, in my opinion, quite reasonable.
On the down side, this did not work well at makeup removal. At all. My eye makeup wouldn't budge with this product so I quickly returned to my double-cleansing method (an oil cleanser and then a foaming one) for the end of the day. While it did feel gentle on my skin, it also left a bit of a film (likely the moisturizing effect?) which made my skin feel less clean. It certainly didn't strip my skin. . . but it also didn't feel 100% clean and fresh either. While I didn't mind this in the morning, at the end of the day, I want all the day's grease and grime off my face so I can do my nighttime routine without the worry that I will have a breakout the next day.
Ultimately, I don't think micellar waters in general are something that I will use in the future - they just don't seem to fit what I look for in my skincare. If you don't wear much makeup and / or don't have much time to dedicate to your skincare (this might be great at the gym?), this type of product might be a better fit for you. Even so, I would be interested to know how this stacks up against other similar products - this didn't wow me enough to understand why micellar waters are becoming such a craze so maybe there are simply better ones out there? I will stick to what works for me and my skin.
This is a very gentle makeup remover that works not only for your face, but for your lips and eyes as well. It's very easy to use and I love that it doesn't irritate the skin or smell harsh. There's no smell at all actually! It's as simple as saturating cotton pads and lightly pressing on your eyes or lips, holding for a few seconds and then gently wiping away. The same goes for your face. It's not rough on the skin, and it does a pretty good job at removing traces of makeup. It's not the best for waterproof eye-makeup, but works well for pretty much every other kind of makeup.

I got to try Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water as part of the Product Review Club. I love how quick and easy it is to clean your face. Perfect for when you're tired and need to remove your makeup before bed. You just squirt some on to a cotton pad and wipe over your face. I could feel my skin tingling after wiping over my face. It was a nice fresh feeling. I would recommend this product to family and friends.

It's a huge bottle was my first thought, which is great! I like that it removes my makeup with ease using a cotton pad. It felt very refreshing and clean and I would even say a little cool on my skin.
I didn't have a lot of luck removing mascara with this though, it did seem to irritate my eyes somewhat, but that is ok as I have dedicated cleanser just for eye makeup.
This did do a wonderful job on the rest of my face makeup so I was pleased with that.
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the scent, something not quite right about the scent, can't put my finger on it, but not a likeable scent for me. I haven't seen anyone else mention the scent so maybe it is just me.
I will purchase again just for the face makeup removal quality but I do wish they would tweak the scent.
I felt this cleanser was really gentle on my skin and worked really well. It takes off make up very well although I found I used a lot of cotton balls. My skin was soft and felt nice and clean.
Loved this product. I cleaned all the make up off very thoroughly but at the same time not stripping my skin of my natural oils.
It rid me of a couple black heads I had on the tip of my nose as well!
With this product I feel no need for both a make up remover (I'm used to greasier removers) & a skin toner, Garnier's Milcellar Cleansing Water serves both functions very well.
I have never tried a micellar water so I didn't really know what to expect from this product. As the label suggests, it removes make up, cleanses and refreshes the skin. I used this water on a cotton pad to remove my make up and it did a really good job. It took about 3 pads to get most of the foundation off my face and about one pad to remove my mascara.
This micellar water did not leave a sticky residue like sometimes happens when I use a pre-moistened cleansing cloth. However, I have a skin care regimen in the evening after removing my make up that involves exfoliating my skin and then cleansing with a foam cleanser. I felt like I needed to continue this routine to get my skin completely clean. I do have very acne prone skin and just felt like the micellar water, even though it claims to cleanse as well, was not enough for my skin.
I could see skipping my additional cleansing routine if I had a late night and only wanted to remove my make up. This would be the perfect product for that purpose. I do like using this in the morning after I wake up as I have no make up to remove. It serves as the perfect cleanser and toner for me.
Overall, I do see value in the product and like that it comes in a large 400ml format which will last a long time. I would recommend this product to others and would consider purchasing it in the future at a sale price.
