A decent shampoo

When I first opened the box, the smell was very strong so I was worried it might smell like that in my hair. But after washing my hair with it, the scent didn't linger very strongly. It was nice and light. The shampoo bar lathered up nicely and did a good job at cleaning my hair, but I feel like it dried my hair out a bit. A great idea to minimalise packaging and waste, but I dont think it was for me.

Shampoo Revolution!!!

This all natural shampoo bar has an intoxicating aroma, and is full of care for your hair, not to mention it contains zero plastic waste for the planet! It came in a 100% recyclable FSC cardboard box which I flattened and placed in my recycle. This Shampoo Bar is of 95% plant-based origin with Argan and Camellia oils. It is 100% vegan and comprised of a 97% biodegradable formula to give you the most nourishing, foamy and fast rinse experience yet! Blended without silicones, preservatives, soap and dyes. The lather was surprisingly good for a shampoo bar (I have used another brand once, that I was unimpressed with). This bar left my curls with softness and with very high shine. I still like my granite liquid products, but I would be highly likely to purchase this product for travel. It’s compact size with minimal packaging would be great and the aroma would not only keep your hair smelling great, but also everything in your case!!

Has a lovely smell

I was curious to try something different for cleaning my hair. I appreciated the smell and the natural ingredients of the product, however, I didn’t feel like it cleaned my hair to the satisfaction that I am used too. For people who would prefer something small and convenient, this shampoo bar would be perfect!

Strong scented shampoo bar

This shampoo bar had a very strong scent even when it was in the packaging. The smell is good but too overwhelming. When it is used, the scent stays on the hair for a very long time. It can be an advantage if it is a smell that you prefer but it is still too strong for my liking.

Not for me.

This product just wasn’t for me. I like how it cuts down on the plastic bottle and packaging of normal shampoo. The scent I tried was too strong for me, perhaps one of the others may be better. I found it took a while to lather up but once it did, it cleaned my hair well. It was soft and smooth and not as tangled. I would recommend this for someone to try if they were interested. It just wasn’t for me but it may be just what someone else needs.

Good design but Not for me

I received this shampoo bar free to try, and while I was impressed by the minimal packaging and ergonomic shape, the bar just didn’t work well with my hair. I felt like it was extremely tangled and hard to manage after, perhaps a conditioning bar to try in addition to the shampoo bar would have helped.

Shiny hair with no plastic bottles!

I received the Garnier Whole Blends Shampoo bar in Nourishing for dry, dull hair.
The product did a nice job of cleansing my hair and did leave it soft and shiny. Mild lather, easy to use. The only downside for me is that this bar is very heavily scented which has a tendency to give me a headache. Fortunately once in use the scent was much milder and did not linger much in my hair. If you are sensitive to scents please take this into consideration, the scent could be cut back by at least 50% and still be good.

Smells like decorative soap

I really wanted to love this shampoo but the smell was so strong it turned me off. I maybe could have got over the smell but this shampoo didn't do well with my long thick wavy hair. My hair requires shampoo that gives me lots of moisture and this wasn't it. That being said I would keep one on hand for trips just to avoid the liquid soap but definitely not something I would use on a regular basis.

Eco friendly, plastic free shampoo

I really like that this shampoo bar is 95% plant-based, is more recyclable and is eco friendly. The scent is strong out of the box but once used, it’s not overwhelming once it is on. And the bar majes my hands feel nice and soft.

The only negatives are that my eyes get a bit irritated from it and that is it is harder to brush my hair even after using lots of conditioner after. For that reason I give it a lesser star rating.

Not too bad.

I was given the opportunity to try the Garnier Whole Blends Argan and Camellia Nourishing Shampoo Bar for free in exchange for my honest opinion of the product.
I've used a few different brands of shampoo bars in the past, so I was pretty excited to see how this one stacked up against those.. This shampoo bar isn't bad, I think it's a great starting point for those looking to start using a shampoo bar. It's easily accessible in big box stores and the price point is amazing!
I'm not really loving the smell of this bar though, it's very strong.. I've also noticed that the bar itself dried out a lot after first use. It was so dry that the bar started cracking. I feel long term this bar might break into a bunch of smaller pieces; eventually making it too hard to continue using..
It cleanses my hair well and it's easy to use. I like to lather up my hands and apply it to my scalp that way.
I don't think I'd buy this particular bar again just because I'm not keen on the scent, but other than that it's a pretty decent bar so far. If the bar doesn't break up I might try a different one.
