smells amazing
I really love the smell of this shampoo. it lathers really well and doesn't dry up your hair. the only thing I would change is the shape. the shape is super weird.
Plastic Free New Concept Shampoo Bars
I was given the opportunity to test out Garnier's Whole Blends Shampoo Bar in Honey Treasures, that is meant for repairing damaged hair for free in exchange for my honest review. This was the first time I've ever used a shampoo bar as I'm more accustomed to traditional liquid shampoos. I love how it is eco friendly with it's plastic free packaging. I was a bit skeptical at first as I wasn't sure of the lather that would happen with this method. After playing around with the bar in the water in my hands and directly in my hair I felt I was able to get a good suds going. The shampoo lathered well and smelled great! I've only been purchasing silicone free shampoos lately so I was happy when this was also the case. I love how it is cruelty free as well. I guess the only complaint I have as a first time user of these method - I didn't have a case to store the shampoo after I washed my hair and had to place it back into the box. I almost wish you can buy a "refill" option as well as buy one with a case. I followed up with my typical conditioner and my hair felt great even days after. I will definitely be using this again the next time I shower. Thank you for the opportunity! #garniershampoobar #gotitfree
Good things come in small packages
I received the Garnier Whole Blends Honey Treasures Repairing Shampoo Bar from @chickadvisor and @butterly for a honest review. The honey 🍯 scent was very inviting and not overpowering. I followed the simple directions on the packaging which suggested to wet hair and bar and then run the bar from root to tip to create a lather. The lather was much less then what you would get from liquid shampoo but that’s what should be expected. My hair felt clean and fresh and there was no soap residue which was surprisingly as the last time I tried solid shampoo, I didn’t have a good experience. This product has changed my mind on solid shampoo . For those looking to be more environmentally conscious, this packaging offer zero plastic waste and the shampoo bar is 94% plant based. I would look at purchasing this again as I enjoyed the product, I value garnier’s commitment to green beauty and the movement toward zero plastic waste.
Great waste free shampoo
I recieved a whole blends #garniershampoobar to try out. I tried it on myself, my family and my clients with different hair textures in my home based hair salon. This repairing 94% plant based shampoo bar is for most hair types, expecally damaged hair that needs some TLC. I noticed it does contain sulfates and sodium in the ingredients so I wouldn't reccommend it for everyone . It left my clients and myself with clean soft and shiny hair. I also tried it on clients that have chemically treated hair and it did not strip the colour at all. Their hair was not heavy or greasy and so easy to manage styling afterwards. It has a Light honey scent is quite nice. I used the bar with and without conditioner and had great results. Lots of suds if you love a good lather. Not messy at all and this little bar will last for quite a while. I have had a few clients ask me about the whole blends bar after I used it because of how soft and manageable their hair was. My husband loves useing the bar because its simple and gives great results. I love it because it saves so much space in the shower, its very affordable and its something I can suggest to my clients that don't like to spend alot of money on salon products.
Good but too strong smell for me
I like the packaging and good to use in hair leaving it smooth and soft. but for me, I find the smell too strong. But the rest, its nice for the hair!
Great Idea, great product
Garnier's honey Treasures shampoo bar smells amazing. While the scent seems a bit strong in the box, it leaves your hair feeling clean and has only a slight smell when you're using it. The bar lathers up quickly in the shower and your really don't need to use much of the shampoo, but I have shoulder-length hair too. The bar fits nicely into your hand so it is easy to apply. My only question is how long the bar will actually last compared to a bottle of shampoo. The packaging claims it can last up to 2 months, so we'll see. The decrease in plastic packaging is a definite plus though. I will pick this up again. #gotitfree #garniershampoobar
Wow!
I have never used a shampoo bar before but was always curious about them and how they would compare to regular shampoo and conditioner! This did NOT disappoint.
Didn't start well...but
Okay, I'll be honest, I have never used a shampoo bar before and I didn't think it would work. First time I tried it, I actually thought I'd have to wash my hair again with another shampoo. Didn't start well in my mind, but... wow, it lathers so well and saturated into my hair so well. And, it smells great. Def will be trying it again and again! Plus, eco-friendly for the win!!
