Smells so good!

The first thing you notice about this product is the smell. The fragrance is very strong and surrounds the entire bathroom, even when not used. I was surprised to see how much foam it generated as I wasn't expecting much. It was also conditioning and left my hair soft and silky.

Soft scent/zero waste

I love that Garnier has created a zero waste shampoo bar. This one has a soft scent and did a decent job cleaning my hair. I have colour-treated hair so I'd like it if they made one specifically for my hair type.

Love Zero Waste

I've always wanted to try a shampoo bar, so when #ChickAdvisor and #Butterly sent me this one for free in exchange for my honest review I was excited to give it a try. I received the Oat Delicacy Garnier Whole Blends Shampoo Bar. First thing I noticed is that it smells great, but not too strong. The lather of this shampoo bar feels so silky and you don't need to use it a lot to get a rich lather. Left my hair feeling fresh and clean, without feeling too dry... I will definitely continue using this product, but wish Garnier would also come out with the matching conditioner bars. However, I love the idea of a zero waste shampoo and was surprised how much I liked this bar. I would probably give 5 stars if there was a conditioner bar to the set. Would still recommend.

Impressed

I was honestly not expecting much from this shampoo. I've used other brands of shampoo in bar form and was not impressed. I was amazed at the lather the shampoo gave me, lots and lots of lather. The smell is a fresh scent of the flowers and fresh air. Leaves your hair soft and frizz free. Will definitely buy again!

A Gentle Green Shampoo Bar

Thank you Chick Advisor and Butterly for selecting me for Garnier Canada’s new Shampoo Bar Campaign. I received a full sized 60g “Garnier Whole Blends Gentle Oat Delicacy Shampoo Bar for Delicate Hair” to try for free!
This is a wonderful green product. Garnier “commits to Green Beauty”. The packaging is made of 100% recyclable cardboard with Zero Plastic Waste. 97% Biodegradable. Cruelty-Free. Fast-rinse formula to help save water. This product is 94% Plant-Based. Made without animal-derived ingredients, preservatives and soap silicone. It is blended with plant-based ingredients, oat milk, and rice cream.
This product claims to “soften, nourish, and provide full care for your hair”. Initially I found the scent coming from the box overwhelming. I would give this product 5 stars if it wasn’t for the very strong fragrance. The scent was not bad smelling, just far too strong until the bar was wet.
I have used solid shampoo bars before. This shampoo bar was easy to use, and very gentle on my hair and skin. I wet my hair and the bar. The bar foamed quickly and the shampoo lathered very well. The product rinsed out quickly, as promised, and left no residue. It left my hair clean, tangle free, and lightly scented. My hair did not feel weighed down. My hair wasn’t left greasy or dried out. My scalp didn’t feel irritated or tight. I did not need to follow up with a conditioner. You could use this shampoo bar on your “bits & pits” if needed, as it was that gentle. Tried it.
I recommend storing the shampoo bar in a tin to keep it protected. This product should last a long time, up to “2 months or 48 uses” according to Garnier, if kept dry. Very cost effective, averaging under $6 a bar at most stores. I would absolutely buy this product and recommend it to everyone. If you are already a Garnier Whole Blends fan, definitely give this shampoo bar a try.

Love how my hair feels

First of all, I love the concept of these soaps, I have always been a lover of natural things and this definitely is. The soap smells delicious, is easy to lather to apply and easy to remove from the hair, thus helping to save water. this time I got the shampoo and at the end of the bath my hair felt light and I love that. I would like to try the aconditioner to see how my hair ends up with both. I recommend to try it, more if you have oily hair.

Oddly Satisfying!

I love this whole concept of shampoo in a bar form. Koodo’s to Garnier, for doing the right thing. Zero plastic waste (thumbs up), Cruelty Free (thumbs up), 94% plant based (thumbs up). I tried the Oat Delicacy bar, and it smells awesome. Does that smell last after washing? No. Not so much in my case. My hair feels nice, soft, and squeaky clean. I have long, thin hair and there was no way I wasn’t putting in some form of conditioner, so can’t say for 100% the softness/shin was from just the shampoo but it did pair well with my conditioner. Not that I expected there to be but moving on…. If your ever on the hunt for trying something new, I’d give this a go. The only little downsize I have to say and this is me just trying to find a negative, is that it’s a little weird rubbing a hard bar of “soap” on your head and then trying to get your hair underneath (long hair). But it does lather well & quickly so like I said, I’m just mentioning one tiny, tiny negative. It’s also suppose to last up to 2 months. If anyone out there in retail experience, we all know about the “up to”claims (wink). Lol. So we will see. Again if you see it, pick one up. It’ll be an experience. Nice Plant Based shampoo

I was so excited to receive this product free from Chick Advisor in exchange for my honest review. I love that it’s plant based, recyclable packaging and now cruelty-free! This shampoo has a little too much fragrance for my liking but it doesn’t linger heavily and doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin and scalp. The shampoo feels gentle and leaves my hair feeling soft and shinny. Overall it’s a great eco friendly product that my mom and I both enjoy! Next time I’d like to try the other scents.

Fun product

When I received this I was a bit skeptical that it would actually lather into something that I would compare to “regular” shampoo and I was very surprised how this actually happened. The smell is quite strong but I didn’t find it overwhelming once I washed my hair. I liked how the bar was small and fit in my hand to be able to wash my hair easily. I also liked the way it left my hair soft. I only wish I had the conditioner bar to try the whole line of products together.
I thought it was fun to use and the fact that there is no plastic makes me so happy. I really like when companies try to be better and think about the environment. I would for sure use this again and really looking forward to purchasing the conditioner bar to use them together.

Innovative zero waste product

It was my first time trying a shampoo bar. It was easy to use, just wet it and rub it on hair. I found it like a soap but then added some more water and it was just the right amount of foam. It has a really nice soft fragrance. Easy to rinse. My hair was nice and soft, but it wasn't any easier to detangle it than with regular shampoo.
