Bad taste
I picked this up at the grocery store on a whim. It has 7 grams of sugar, but I don't know how many grams of the processed sugar (sucralose) which is still sugar. The red dye taste was yucky. I drank regular Gatorade the day before, which was hotter day and I did more physical work and had no problems. I had an easier work load today, which was somewhat cooler due to being partly cloudy and windy.
Gatorade
During my pregnancy, I craved sweetness every single day. In lieu of drinking a sweet juice, I opted for Gatorade G2. This drink allowed me to stay hydrated, and also meet the needs of my sweet tooth without loads of sugar!
I have purchased every flavor from the G2 Gatorade Line. They taste pretty decent and the flavors all taste individual. Some drinks of this kind; all the flavors taste the same, whether grape or berry. This is my first choice instead of the traditional / original Gatorade.A 20-fluid-ounce bottle of G2 of any flavor contains 12 grams of sugar, 12 carbs and 45 calories. The same size serving of traditional Gatorade has 34 grams of sugar, 34 carbs and 130 calories.
They are always on sale and I sometimes mix with water if it is the one with 34 grams of sugar, other wise it is too sweet and too many calories too.
I only every buy this when I am doing a long day hike or at work sometimes if I have a very physical day or work overtime. These types of drink or not for daily consumption to just sit on the couch.
Gatorade G2 is a great low-sugar sports drink option. Some of the flavors are ridiculously fake-sweet (like the blueberry one) but some are really good (the grape one tastes just like grape Kool-Aid!) These drinks hydrate well, as they are full of electrolytes. I drink the grape one regularly!
Gatorade is the key to quenching my thirst, especially after playing high intensity sports. This is literally my holy grail to success in the fitness world.
I love the Glacier cherry flavor it's by far the best
I like to drink it when I have the flu because it gives my body vitamins, minirals and electrolytes that I need to replace while being sick.
I love Gatorade. It helps when you need a little extra push or when you are dehydrated. It replenishes so many vitamins and minerals.
Tastes great, wonderful for during/after workouts. I don't like the taste of regular gatorade, but love the G2. Wish I could get the powdered version in Canada, but am stuck buying the bottles from Costco or Walmart. Thumbs up, try it!
Although I am not thrilled with the taste of this product, it definately refreshes and restores energy after a long run or exercise.
Depleted electrolytes and replaced, and you do feel better after drinking this.
I love this updated, cool, and light version of Gatorade. G2 is like the grown up version of the original sugary, neon, lip and teeth staining drink that was made famous by all winning sports teams of our youth. Not only is it refreshing, but it is only 20 calories and delicious! It's downfall is it's pricing at most retailers. Overpriced, so I enjoy when it is on sale, as a treat :)
