This is NOT your mother's cottage cheese! Gone are the curds.... Instead it's whipped and smooth with an extra protein kicker. It's that added whey protein that adds a tad of bitter aftertaste. Also the texture, being whipped, is very different from regular cottage cheese. People who like curds they will likely hate this, while people who dislike the lumpiness of curds will likely enjoy this. I like Nordica's regular cottage cheese quite a lot but this is very convenient, has less sodium and is a quick way to get a spreadable protein heavy substitute for cream cheese - sprinkled with herbs, then spread on rye crisps. Voila! The whey bitterness is masked. Great for a snack or breakfast or lunch. This has become a beloved staple.

This is good for any snack . I eat it with vegetables and fruits. It is rich and creamy but not heavy. I would recommend it to anyone who loves cottage cheese

This product is definitely a treat for those of us who want the health benefits of cottage cheese but don't enjoy the lumpy texture. This cottage cheese is more of a yogurty-texture and is delicious! I recommend it highly!

First time trying smooth cottage cheese and will be the last.
We tried plain we tried to fancy it up with fruit and it didnt seem to help with flavor at all. My husband is a bug fan of cottage cheese and happy to try something new. We will stay with our reg Gay Lea cottage cheese.

This is perfect for any snack in the morning. I eat it with cereal and fruits. It is rich and creamy but not heavy. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys cottage cheese.

like a Greek yogurt

This is really like a high fat Greek yogurt. I've had it with chocolate granola & it's nice. It would be ideal in lasagna or any recipe that calls for ricotta.

It's a nice product , great taste ,I use this in salads , sweet dishes and also in gravy like butter chicken ,plus it is the best course of protein .

Tastes like SOUR CREAM

I won't buy this again. As a big fan of regular cottage cheese, I was excited to try smooth cottage cheese when I spotted it. I got it home, opened it up to eat (plain and straight out of the container as I love my cottage cheese!) and the taste that filled my mouth was nearly enough to be spat out. It tastes EXACTLY like sour cream. I re-read the container in disbelief. Yep. Says cottage cheese. How does the taste change so drastically? I can't understand. I gave it to my son to use for tacos and baked potatoes since he's a big sour cream lover. I'll buy the regular Gay-Lea cottage cheese, complete with chunks, thanks!! Not a pleasant experience unless you like eating sour cream with a spoon lol
