Way to sweet

I was out on the weekend with friends and one of the options available was the Georgian Bay vodka smash. I enjoy vodka drinks and it was grapefruit so I figured I would like it. However between my friend and I who both bought one, we may be drank half of one can between the two of us. It was just so sweet and it left a bad taste in your mouth. It produced a lot of phlegm because of all the sugar. We will never drink this again.
