This was a really great razor although I find the refills a little expensive. The moisture bars usually only last me a few showers and then fall off. Razor shaves well and I am definitely able to get my money worth.
I really enjoy this razor when I am planning a long weekend out at a cabin or camping because it is super convenient and I do not need shaving cream. The moisture strip does not last too long but it does give me a nice shave. That is why I only like this for traveling for a couple days because it is great for a little while and I do not need to bring any shaving cream. This is definitely not my everyday razor but it is still a good one. I recommend it to anyone who has an upcoming vacation or some kind of travel because it is easy to bring and saves room in your bag!
A great razor that will leave you skin soft and smooth with a really close shave, no matter what/where you intend to shave. I find the Gillette Venus razors to be my now go to brand when selecting a razor, even though the price is a little more than what I'd like to pay. However, these razors pay for themselves in the end. Most of these razors you don't need to use any shaving cream with, as most have gel bars on them. This one, like others in the collection , glide over your skin with ease, and you never can really nick yourself, as the handles are/have a nice grip on them. I got nothing but smooth legs after trying/using this one. I would definitely recommend this one.
I have used these razors a few times now and I found them to be the best so far at removing hair without any cuts and no red bumps on skin after use.
There is a very big difference between 3 blades and 5. I was using the razor with 3 blades and I was not getting a clean shave, it felt like I had missed spots. I was disappointed, but once I made the switch to 5 blades, such a big difference!
I think this is one of the best razors, but when the gel part falls off, it pretty much becomes useless and you have to replace the cartridge. Which ends up costing A LOT of money because the replacement cartridges are so expensive.
I had been using disposable razors for so long, and got fed up of annoying shaving cream so finally bent and got a real razor - the Venus Breeze. I love it! I love the flexing of it, the surrounding soup around the razor, and how sharp the razor is. Yes, I have to buy the repleaceable heads but they last so long - its not a big deal. The replaceable heads are so easy to take off and on, and they make my legs so silky soft! I definitely recommend it.
I tried this razor today and was shocked that with the first few strokes, the gel bar on the top of the razor fell off! The bottom bar stayed on but the razor was difficult to use safely after that since the blades were now exposed. I had to throw it out after only one use. I love Gillette Venus, but never again will I purchase this type.
I first bought this razor before I went on holidays. It is a great little razor and I was able to avoid bringing shave gel with me. I wasn't sure about the product the first time I used it, but it seemed to work better the second use. Now I am hooked on it!
The only problem that I have found is, the shave gel bars can get a bit sticky if you leave it in the shower. That has an easy solution....don't leave it in the shower! Easy enough!
I have tried many razors over the years, but this is by far my favorite!
I usually use another brand razor but picked this one up at No Frills because it was only $5.99 so for the razor with two blades included and a suction holder to hang it up it was a bargain.I only wished I had have bought more!I love this razor my usual one is so bulky but I had always loved the shaving balm attached to the razor. The Venus breeze also has a shaving balm attached and its just the right amount.I loved the smell when I opened this so pretty. It hangs perfectly and out of the way in my shower.I love how well it shaves with no nicks or cuts.I realize I will be paying more now for the replacement blades but it is well worth it.
