I've used many types and I keep coming back to this one

The 5 blade Gillette Venus Embrace Razor works much better than a 3 blade. I get fewer -to almost none- nicks or cuts, and the blade lasts much longer before going dull. I love the shape of the handle; it curves just like the curves of your leg, so you can manouver a lot easier. Since I first switched to Gillette Venus Embrace Razor, I haven't gone back to the previous one(s).

I am currently using this razor and i find it to be pretty good compared to other razors on the market. i find with this one it last long as it doesn't get dull so quickly. I haven't had any problems with this razor as of yet. It does the job and it never breaks my skin into a rash.

I got this initial as a sample which persuaded to begin buying venus razors (I purchased the divine venus after I had to toss my sample). I had been using Bic Daisy disposables and I would get really bad razor burn and ingrown hairs. I also found I couldn't use the bics more then once or twice (or my legs would be so irritated I would just avoid shaving altogether). After trying the Venus I was surprised at how smooth my legs were, and more surprised the next morning with no ingrown hairs and no itchiness. I was skeptical after I had used the blade twice but I found that my legs remained irritation free up until after the 13th shave when the blades were starting to dull.
I also really like the handle when shaving my legs, it's a great design. Overall I've since stuck to Gillette razors, I've received shick intuitions as samples and they performed very poorly up against my Gillette razors.

I received the Venus Embrace razor free from the P&G;brand sample earlier this year and love it. I was very happily surprised at how well it worked and how long this five blade razor lasts. It leaves my legs soft and smooth and I’ve found that after using it I don’t have to shave everyday.
How ever I would only buy it on my own if I could get it for under $4. It’s a great razor, but not all of us can afford the $13, or more that they want for it. So if you can get one as a free sample, can find a really good coupon for it, or can afford to spend that much money for a razor, buy this one, you won’t be disappointed.

I think it's a good razor and you can use it a long time before you have to change the blade.

The only thing is that the blades are quite expensive. It's a good thing that it lasts a long time!

when i first got this razor i thought that it would be just like any other razor out there. i was wrong! not only is it great to use, it feels nice to shave with. after using it my legs felt a lot softer and smoother and after using it quite a few times i have noticed a difference in the way my legs look and feel. i used to dread shaving my legs, i would always cut myself and my skin would become extremely irritated but with the venus embrace i have yet to cut myself and my legs no longer feel irritated when im done. even my husband noticed a difference in the way my legs feel. even though shaving does take a bit longer then any wax or cream i would seriously recommend using this razor before slapping chemical creams on. i loved mine so much, i got one for my mother-in-law and grandmother-in-law

just got a free sample of one of these - it works great. A nice close shave that really does last longer than other razors.

i really liked this razor i felt like it shaved really well and didnt irritate my legs at all and it made my legs fell smoother then usual

The ads dare you to embrace the smoothness of this amazing 5 blade razor. So I did ... and I am switching for good. It shaves a close as I have ever seen and is gentle on the skin. Now we ladies can get five-blade closeness for baby soft skin! Yay!!!
