My overall experience with the Venus razor series was extremely positive! The performance compared to other brands I have tried is unmatched. I found the Venus razors to be very easy to use and I did not end up with nicks and cuts like I do with other brands.

Venus razors are amazing when it comes to working around the curves of my legs. The Venus razor is built to protect the skin while getting the closest shave I have ever experienced. What impressed me the most about Venus Razors was the breadth of selection and the variety of options available.

The Venus Embrace handle and cartridge were my perfect pair and is my overall fave!

I would definitely consider purchasing Venus products AND recommend them to friends and family. I have already gifted one razor each to my sister and niece so they could experience the Venus brand. They are HOOKED!

First off, I do want to say that I was given the opportunity to try out these products for free. Now, I was shocked at the amount of razors that I was sent to try out. The first one I tried out was the Venus Embrace with Ribbon of Moisture, which has 5 blades. I loved how it got my legs really smooth and the closest shave ever. I didn't have to shave my legs again for almost 3 days, which I think is absolutely wonderful. I liked also that the replacement blades/cartridges were individually sealed. They themselves were easy to open and put on the handle of the razor. The ribbon of moisture also helped my dry skin. The razor glided over my skin with no problems and I was left with no nicks or cut, and the best part, I had both legs shaved in under 5 minutes, that's a recored for me. Overall, a fantastic razor, and definitely worth recommending. The price is a little more than what I'd pay, but worth it in the long run.

Thank you ChickAdvisor and Gillette Venus for this great opportunity to try and test these razors.I really enjoyed this review.I received eight different razors,cartridges and handles to try.When the Fed-Ex box arrived I was really excited and shocked to see how generous this sampling opportunity was.

Before being picked to review these razors I was already using the Olay & Venus razor.I have also previously tried and posted a review on ChickAdvisor of the Spa Breeze razor.so that left me six razors to test.What better way to test them out but to try them all at once!I wanted to be able to review and test them all before the deadline of submitting my review.

So on the weekend I hung up the six razors in the shower and tested them out . I'm glad I hadn't shaved and let myself get good and hairy to test them out lol.My shower is very colorful now with all these shavers hanging in there and I will have a choice of shavers to try next time I shave. I'm also glad I tested them this way because I now have a definite favorite Venus razor.

I have always liked Venus razors but never realized that they have such a big selection of razors and there all different.All the handles are interchangeable with any Venus cartridge.So depending on your mood or if you want to color coordinate with your bathroom the decision is yours.Personally my favorite color is blue so my favorite handle is the Venus Divine handle which is a dark blue.Here are my reviews below.

*Embrace Razor*(my favorite razor)

This is the Venus razor I will stick with defiantly my favorite.I like that it has five blades it seems to give me a much closer shave then the three blade varieties.I like the shape it really does seem to hug your legs/underarms as it glides smoothly over the skin.I prefer the ribbon moisture which gives the right amount of moisture.I prefer the ribbon moisture strip over the moisture bars some of the other razors had the bars which I find to bulky.It left my skin feeling really silky and really seemed to shave the closest in my opinion.It also had the best shower holder much more sturdy and more attractive looking then the small holder that does not suction quite as good as the embrace holder.

*Venus & Olay Razor*

I like that is has five blades which gives me a closer shave.I find the moisture bars are to much moisture for my liking it got quite messy and a slightly oily texture that got a bit slimy.I also found the cartridges seemed to clog up quite fast.The scent is fantastic I really like the vanilla creme smell and it was a pleasant smell to be shaving with.It did leave my skin feeling really soft from the moisture bars.I think this razor would be really good in winter when your skin needs a bit more moisture.

*Venus & Olay*(Sugarberry Scented)
-handle colour deep pink on white

This one is the same as the Olay & Venus razor above except that it is scented in sugarberry.I prefer the Vanilla creme scented one over the sugarberry scent

*ProSkin*

I really feel like the razors with the attached moisture bars are just to thick(the bars) so that the razor cant give a perfect close shave which is what I want from a razor.It also has only three razors which works alright I just prefer the five blades.The extra body butters in the bar are nice for leaving your skin very smooth.I like that it is dermatologist recommended so a bit better for sensitive skin.

*Breeze Spa*(white tea scent)
-light lather shave gel

-in-shower hanger

I love the smell the light white tea scent is so pretty.It shaves well but after trying five blades I just prefer to stick with five blades in my shaver.This shaver also has the moisture bars but they don't seem as messy and overwhelming as on the olay infused bars.

This one is really the same as the Breeze spa in my opinion except the breeze spa has the lovely white tea scent.

I really like this razor with the exception of the three blades.I love the shape and like the moisture strips way better then those bulky moisture bars.I like that it has botanical oils as well added.I have been trying to research online to see what the oils infused are but cannot find that information.

*Venus Original*

-blue indicator strip fades away when your no longer getting a optimal shave

I love that this is the only razor that has a indicator that fades away when your razor cartridge needs to be changes.However I don't care to much for the cushions I prefer there to be a moisture strip added something in between the bars and ribbons.

My overall impression with Venus razors are they are superior and all work really well.With so many choices there is defiantly one to please even the pickiest shavers.The razors never nick or cut my legs.The razors never rusted.I cant say how many uses you can get from the individual razors as I don't have enough time to test that out.

They are all very pretty sleek razors that look pretty hanging in the shower.The scents are all very nice.I have sensitive skin and had no issues/break-outs with any of the razors.Thank you again ChickAdvisor and Gillette Venus for this opportunity to get to try the whole line of Venus razors.It was fun!I highly recommend these razors.

First, foremost I was so kindly given many razors to try from ChickAdvisor and Gillette that I absolutely loved.

Dislikes:
- The original, divine razor didn't really offer anything special and were pretty much just regular razors that were no different than others I have bought in the past. And the case came with double sided tape to stick on your wall that weren't very effective. So I really wouldn't bother buying those in the future compared to cheaper products.

Likes:
- I really preferred the suction cup holders used for the specialty razors that had soap bars around the blades for use in the shower. Especially the Embrace pod one that could hold two extra blades.
- They all had pretty comfy handles to use so for me so I just went with what ever colour I preferred.
- All of the moisture bar razors really really fantastic at moisturizing, softening the skin but i found the Olay brand ones were especially great for dry skin. So I would recommend those type first if you have that type of skin.
- All the scents were really subtle and nice to use in the shower. But I specifically really loved the Olay sugar berry series as it smelled very feminine, fruity that I enjoy most.
- Also the Olay series seemed to have 5 blades compared to the usual 3 that gave a really nice, close shave.

So to summarize I really generally preferred the Olay series for close shave, scent and moisturizing but would love them to use the shower pod, holder of the Embrace kind to organize, hold extra blades.

I find the cartridges are too expensive. I usually go disposable. They are nice though.

This is probably my favourite of all the razors I tried, next to the original. i like that it doesn't have the "soap" attached to it and is simple and easy to use and keep. The shave is nice and close, but I don't neccessarily think its much closer than the original blades.

I really liked the easy to open packaging and would definitely think about purchasing the replacement blades for this one!!

This is the second razor I tried from the Product Review Club. After using the Venus Spa, I have to admit, I prefer the Spa over this one.

What I like about this razor is that the packaging is easy to open and each cartridge is individually wrapped (for sanitary reasons). The handle feels really comfortable and the whole ensemble is lightweight and easy to use. It comes with a holder so I stick it on the shower wall and this allows the razor to dry properly between use. The 5 blades are nice and sharp and the razor works very well.

Unfortunately, I am a bit bias towards razor blades that come with extra bulky moisturizing strips. The Venus Spa has two big gel pads and it glided on my skin much more smoothly without having to apply any additional cream or soap. I found this Venus Embrace doesn't glide as well, especially on the underarm area. It works well as long as I apply shaving cream or soap on the skin before shaving (something I don't have to do with the Venus Spa).

I really like these,they work very well,compared to others that I've tried.

These are my old standby when it comes to razors. The three blade is the cheapest of the venus options, and they are tried and true for a smooth shave and silky legs.

I highly recommend getting on board with this truly awesome original!

As someone that normally uses 3-blade disposable razors, I found using the 5-blade Venus Embrace razor was a vastly different experience. The razor glides smoothly and curved effortlessly along with the contours of my body. In areas that I would normally need to go over multiple times, the embrace razor left no trace of hairs or stubble. The moisture bars from the Spa Breeze refills also left me with incredibly smooth legs and it was great to not have to worry about shaving cream. Afterwards, I found my legs were extremely soft and felt silky to the touch - I couldn't help but run my hands all over them because of how smooth they were!
