Great razor

When frustrated by razors not leaving a great shave I tried several different brands but once I found the Gillette Venus Platinum I stopped looking. The extra weight from the metal handle is a great bonus as it feels more substantial and nicer to hold when shaving. The razor itself glides well and leaves a nice shave.

so smooth on my skin

Love how smooth it makes my legs feel! So soft and moist. I just wish it had a foam that suds up like the spa razor from Venus. but overall its a great razor that is heavy and sturdy and has a good blade! i would reccommd it to all my friends and family

Flexible Razor Head

This razor feels really great in the hand, the razor head will curve with your body so you don't miss a hair. I find I get a smooth shave afterward but it maybe doesn't get quite as close as it could. The platinum handle will fit with any Venus Gillette blades.

No cuts!

I have to confess that I’ve always been afraid of using razors with cartridges because I a was under the false impression that if I used I was going to hurt my legs and this product changed my mind.

This product is very cute and elegant. It has five blades, which means it shaves perfectly in just one stroke, avoiding skin irritation. Its handle is anatomic, made of metal and plastic and gives you a firm grip. Moreover, it has a ribbon all around the blade, that provides extra moisture and protects you from getting cuts.

I couldn’t find any negative aspect of this product and truly recommend it.

Not a fan of this razor

I am usually a big fan of Venus razors, but not this time. I Do love the nice handle it is heavy and pretty. I found it got dull really fast and for some reason gave me awful razor burn everytime I used it. I tried different shaving creams everything and still was bad. Plus, it wasn't very effective I found you had to go over the same spot over and over. (Probably why the razor burn ). Not a fan. I will stick with the venus original.

MUST HAVE!

If you look at it you can't even imagine how much Gillette Venus Platinum optimizes our time. I was really used to use only the disposable ones, but this one is really practical! Venus Platinum has a roll of gels that you just need water to use. It gives smooth shave like no other. Must have!!!

A Handle Worth Holding On To

I just received the Platinum edition of Gillette's Venus Razor and I am impressed! All of the features of the venus form that we've come to love, but instead of the featherlight handles of the past they've released a handle for the girls who like a little bit more from their handle. Heavy cutlery used to be a status symbol at dinner parties, now it's your smooth legs thanks to the new heavy silver in the house ;)

The handle is everything

My staple razor is the gillette venus swirl but the venus platinum is a close contender for that spot mainly because you can just feel the quality of this razor in the handle.
The perfect combo would be this platinum handle and the the swirl blades = KNOCKOUT!!!! which i think i will try out.
Honestly though, even if you can't get the platinum one just try the swirl... you are in for being impressed.
