Close and smooth shave!

What I really love about this Gillette Venus razor designed for pubic hair and skin is the smaller sized shaver head. It is smaller than traditional razors and I like that because it really helps get into sensitive shaving areas with ease.

The blades are nice and sharp and really help to cleanly shave off the pubic hair (or other hair if you want to use it elsewhere). The blades glide over the skin with ease and really leaves the skin silky smooth without any razor bumps.

Over all a great product, comfortable to use and the smaller shave head is fantastic.

Not for me

I received the Gillette Venus For Pubic Hair & Skin 3-Up Razor for free in exchange for my honest review.

The packaging is quite nice and professional. The razor comes with 2 extra refills which is great. I noticed the razor is heavy compared to my other razors.

I used this razor in different areas to see how well it worked. I have pretty thick hair which usually isn’t a problem however with this razor I had to pass a few times to get it all. The precision trimmer is the best part. I feel like it worked better than the actual razor itself. I did not experience any razor burn or irritation from the razor however I believe this would work better on thinner hair. Game Changer

I used this for my bikini area and my legs to see how it works on different areas. My legs were fantastic. Sometimes I’ll get like a razor burn, or little strawberry leg patches, but this gave me a smooth shave and 0 reaction anywhere. For my bikini area, I’d say it doesn’t give you as smooth of a shave as their regular razors, but again, there is absolutely 0 irritation anywhere. I tried shaving back to back days, and I also tried it spaced out a bit more, and either way I didn’t have any irritation. No bleeding, no breakouts, no razor burn, it’s amazing. It comes with a total of 3 blades in the pack and they all have little plastic guards on them, which is great.

Why why why Gillette???

I’ll start off by saying I am a loyal Gillette customer. However, as a female I buy only “men’s” Gillette razors. All of the selling features of this razor make it worse than the men’s. The moisturizing strip prevented me from getting close enough to the skin to get a close shave. ONLY TWO blades meant hairs weren’t effectively trimmed. Both of these features would result in more regular shaves required, thereby further irritating delicate skin. However, my 5 blade “men’s” razor gives me smooth skin that lasts.
The handle was fine, probably the only positive thing about the razor.

Perfect for a close and gentle shave

This is a great little razor with so many innovations perfect for more delicate areas like public skin. The handle is nice and small and easy to hold. The razor blades have a patented irritation defence bar that keeps the blade off the skin whilst still giving a close shave. On the end is a precision trimmer which helps get into tricky spots. Overall I found that it gives a good close shave. Like any razors its a lot easier if the hair is shorter as longer hair does tend to get stuck in all the holes in the blade.

Great!

This is a great razor! The razor head is flexible, yet heavy enough for its purpose; the handle is very comfortable to hold and, most importantly, non-slippery! It's perfect to use in the shower. It gives a very close, smooth and safe shave (I didn't cut myself once using it and that's a first for me!:). It's very easy to clean too. It comes with two additional razor heads, which I appreciate!

Best razor for bikini area

For those with sensitive spots, the razor is for you. It does not cause a rash after usage. Be careful not to cut your skin since the blades can be very sharp. It is quite comfortable to use and you will receive little to no irritation. You have the ability to shave from multiple angles. It is a smoother cut than other brands but not as smooth as other Venus razors. These razors tend to last a longer period of time before replacing the blades. Ideally, this would be more budget-friendly in the long run. The only concern I have is the compatibility to other Venus razor handles and the ability to re-fill when the blades become dull. The razor works as intended. It targets all of the fine little hairs without cutting your delicate skin. I highly recommend this razor for sensitive skin.

I am sensible when I shave on sensible skin area. I love the razor shape. The weight is also perfect. You got a great grip and the blade are more soft. My skin look better
