A good beginning to the relationship

I love makeup but my stash & skills are pretty basic. I've been wanting to try blush, so when Butterly offered to send me the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Cheek Tint in the color 65 to try out, it felt like a push to finally sacrifice some of my few leftover neurones to give it a try.

As I only have 7 days from the time I received this product to post a review, I will be posting a follow-up in around 6 months on my blog; if you're interested to know if this product holds up past our honeymoon phase, you know where to go.

The GA website claims the tint creates a "12h skin-fusing liquid blush for just-pinched cheeks" so unsurprisingly, I decided to put the tint on one cheek & squeeze the other, because why not. I applied a very small drop of the tint & blended into my cheek; it was pretty much similar in color to my actually pinched cheek. I was happy with my pseudo-scientific experiment & confident I wouldn't look like a clown.

My main goal is to look a little flushed on days where I have no energy & look so pale I scare myself. Instructions for the tint say one dot for a natural finish; I found that the dot needs to be quite small, meaning that the CA$56 you'd shell out to buy this tint would potentially go a long way.

The tint didn't last 12 hours for me. I applied it around 9h30 and by 15h30 I was looking like my usual pale, exhausted self. I'll be experimenting more to see if the size of the one dot I'm supposed to use needs to be bigger or if it's just summertime sweat washing my makeup off (which happens a lot, except for the Urban Decay Face Bond I reviewed a little while ago. That thing seems GLUED ON.)

Do I recommend this product? At this point, I like it enough that I would suggest trying it out in a store one morning on your way to work to see how it handles a day. But since I don't know much about the company and its ethics, & since the bottle is made of plastic, I can't outright recommend it at this point. Buttery and pigmented!

Buttery and pigmented, love how smooth and "blushing from within" the armani cheek tint gives. Super buildable and easy to wear even without a base. It's not drying or oily on the skin and the glow is A+

This blush is so soft and elegant!! I love the formula, so lightweight, blends in evenly and so long lastin, they do dry down and don’t stay sticky, i don’t wear highlighter with it because it has a lovely glowy finish without any glitters, Highly recommend and i will repurchase it!!

My thoughts:
Firstly, what a beautiful bottle! I adore when my makeup packages look stunning! You can just tell that it is going to be a luxurious product!

I really like the buildable formula. It's nice to go from a light flush during the day to a more impressive one at night. The texture is gorgeous! It blends so easily and just melts into the skin. I am amazed how natural the flush looks! I am very impressed! I found that the cheek tint did not interact with my foundation and just melded well together!

Overall, it is a massive winner that I am honoured to have in my makeup bag! 🤍

Beautiful natural looking tint in cheeks

This is a beautiful matte tint to the cheeks which provides a natural flush in the cheeks while make the face look more youthful & fresh ! The tint can be builded up as much needed & blends beautifully to the skin

Natural finish!

I am trying Armani Luminous Silk Cheek Tint Shade #65 Intense Berry - deep plum.

It looks like a dark concentrated color at first but it turns into a light coverage and natural finish when I blend using fingertips. Just one dot is enough, more if you want an intense deep shade.

I love the luxurious silky texture and also its convinience to use as blush and lipstick too.

Best liquid blush I’ve tried

This blush blends in very easily as I am someone with dry skin, and is buildable. Two dots gives me a natural look and if I want a more glam look I would just add more product. I would purchase this in other colours!

In ~Intense Berry 65~ is lightweight, but be-rry pigmented, it’s buildable and easy to apply.

This hydrating cheek tint, is made with Micro–fill technology, which allows it to absorbs on the skin and keep it moisturized.

This colour is beautiful, it gives a nice pop of colour and a sun-kissed look, when applied slightly on cheeks and nose.

Amazing for a sunkissed look

I recently tried the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Cheek Tint, and it has quickly become a staple in my makeup routine. The formula is incredibly lightweight and blends effortlessly into the skin, giving a natural, radiant glow that lasts all day.

The pigmentation is just right, allowing for buildable coverage that can take you from a subtle flush to a more intense pop of color. This was my first time trying a peachy shade of blush and I am happy with how it came out on my skintone.

I also love how hydrating it feels, leaving my cheeks looking fresh and dewy without feeling greasy. The shade range is impressive, catering to a variety of skin tones.

I just felt it to be a bit drying on the wand. You actually need a good amount of blush for it to highlight your cheeks but otherwise looks really natural so definitely not going to last long.
