The only reason I even smelt this perfume was because there was a tester bottle in a drugstore and I was looking to buy a gift for a friend, little did I know that I was going to find a holy grail product. I am completely in love with it and every time I smell it, I die a little inside because it is so good. Instead of attempting to describe the scent (which no one seems to be able to do accurately) I decided to look up what the top notes, middle and the base notes (found from fragrantica.ca) in an attempt to aid those looking for a new perfume. It is a strong scent, but who are we kidding we want it to last and we want others to have to comment on how good we smell.
The top notes are citrus; the heart is composed of magnolia, pepper and vetiver, while the base notes are sandalwood, amber and musk.
I would suggest this to anyone who is comfortable with wearing a more powerful scent, it's very sexy, confident and perfect.

Perfume is so hard to describe. I like fruity type smells - with a hint of citrus. So this should give you an idea of where the smell range is for me.

I'm not really sure "What it smells Like" to describe it. But I get compliments every time I wear it. From men and women a like.

I usually like to switch perfumes, but this scent for me is a keeper, and I'm sure for the next few years, I will continue to have one in my collection.

I wear this as "everyday" and can even wear it in the evenings.

MMMMMmmmmm...One of my all time FAVES when it comes to perfume...you know the one that people everywhere stop you to ask what you are wearing because it just smells that good...YUP this is one of them. I am a big fan of Givenchy perfumes but this one is one of my must haves. A little fruity, but yet a little musky...I recommend this one to add to your Christmas list from that special someone...or go treat yourself.

I LOVE this perfume! It smells fantastic! It has a youthful scent and last all day. Great product, give it a try. You can get a tester to try first before making a purchase too, just to make sure you like the sent and it mixes will with body chemistry :)

Little expensive , but its a must have perfume, lots of complements

Ive worn it for years, my friends call it the alanna smell. My one friend even started wearing it now, she says it reminds her of me.lol Its already a classic. I know a lot of ladies that wear it cause hands down its one of the best. I love the big hot pink beach towel i got with it one time.

I get compliments whenever I wear this person. In fact I got compliments this week so I felt compelled to come here and write a review. This smells more mature, but it is definitely a favourite of mine. It's described as sophisticated yet glamorous, which I think is pretty accurate. It has notes of magnolia, bergamont, white musk, jasmine. It smells a bit powdery to me once it settles, but it is very long-lasting and strong.

Givenchy Hot Couture promises a spirit of elegant warmth and charismatic charm. Reading ads and reviews about it, my imagination conjured up an image of a woman who is totally put together and at one with fashion.

Sampling its sweet notes, I found it to be sweet and spicy, yet soothing and enticing all at the same time ... and I had to have it. Its "spicy and woody notes (Raspberry nectar, Magnolia, Amber-vetiver)" are almost irresistible. I wear it in comfort and assurance and enjoy the many compliments it brings me.

It almost seems to draw people closer ... its ethereal scent is so compelling. Try it and see if you agree.
