This product burned my skin - never again

So I received a sample of this in my ipsy bag and to begin this review, I just want to say that I do NOT have sensitive skin - I have used hundreds of different products on my skin and gone for dermatological acid skin peels, so my skin is definitely not sensitive. However. I used this product for the first time, and my skin felt like it was on fire. I thought at first it was just a tingle, and I thought the product was just "working its magic", but then it became painful, so I quickly washed it off. My skin was so red and puffy and hot, it looked like I had gotten a major sunburn and my skin hurt to touch. I gave the sample to my friend who loves GLAMGLOW products, but for me? Never again. This could work for you - apparently GLAMGLOW is more geared for those with cystic acne? But maybe get a sample first before buying the full thing, since this brand is expensive. The brand is also NOT cruelty-free, but even if it was, the reaction my skin had to it makes it a no-go for me.
