I would be buying jars of this mask if it wasn't for the price. I've gone through one jar already and it cleaned my skin out so well but I don't think I would ever buy it again because it's so expensive.
I did really enjoy using this mask that I bought with a Sephora gift card I recieved. Saying this, I really don't think that it's worth the money. It did help clear up some of the break outs but I found that the Mask of Magnaminty from Lush did the same job. It was over all a good product but I could find it cheaper elsewhere.
This is one of my favorite clay masks, as it is relatively easy to use and is effective in purifying my skin when I feel my skin is oily, pores may feel a bit clogged, and could use a good cleanse. My skin always feels so much better and softer after using this mask!
I love all Glanglow products, I'll be honest I don't like their prices, tho the cleansers aren't a bad price considering how much u get and they last a super long time, but the supermud it really sucks up oil off ur face. This will sound kinda gross to those of u who haven't tried the mask, but for those of us who have the best part is when it dries on ur face. It dries to a light grey colour (it's darker in the jar and when u put it on) but wherever u had excessive oil or a black head u will see it in a dark grey. I love that bec it shows me that the mask is actually working, and for its price it darn well better be.
It also works as a great spot treatment. The way I use it is after I wash my face at night I'll apply to the zit for roughly 30mins then I rinse it off so it can "breathe" for a bit before I put my night serums and moisturizer and then before I put my sleep mask on top of all my other products I put a dab of this on my pimple. Most of the time I wake and if it's not totally gone it will be much smaller and usually the redness will be gone.
I only buy it when I get extra money say for my bday or xmas or if there is a VIB rouge 15% sale at Sephora. So I use this sparingly only when my face is really misbehaving. If you can't afford it I find Origins has a similar mask w a much much better price point. It's not quite as good but it is worth trying.
If ur unsure about dropping that much cash for a mask and u live near a Sephora store I recommend u go in and just ask for a sample. You do not have to buy anything and they are always happy to give out samples. I also like Sephora bec they do NOT work on commission so they are honest about the products they recommend.
If u have bad acne or super oily skin I really do recommend the supermud and maybe rotate it w the Origins mask and save the Glanglow for really bad skin days...like the dreaded pimple(s) most of us women get before our periods.
This stuff is absolutely phenomenal in clearing up your acne. The mask is more of a once a week use , but it works!! It can also be used as a spot treatment as well. I love the glam glow line.
I love most of Glamglow's products. They are all super effective. The only downfall is that they are SO expensive. I cannot justify spending $70 CAN on a facial cleanser. That being said, I have received their products as gifts and love using them. Always leave my skin bright, clear, and soft.
Oh Glamglow, why you gotta be so expensive for?? I love this product and how you can see your pores being purged and the tingling feeling from the eucalyptus that seems to revitalise your skin. The results from this mask is intense; when you wash off this mask, its evident that whatever gunk that was stuck in your pores is out. Leaves skin looking beautiful and clear. Only downside of course, is the price. Way too expensive to keep on repurchasing. Try the boscia intensive pudding mask instead (if you can handle the smell).
I really like this stuff. Its a little hard to spread so I use some water. It smells good and makes my face pretty soft after. No break outs and I have sensitive skin to.
I received this product in beauty box I get monthly, and I was skeptical of it. The price tag if definitely high, personally I feel it could easily sell for $50 tops. Either way, I really like this mask. I don't particularly have a ton of problems with my skin, but I do get hormomal acne around my chin and nose, and use this as a spot treatment. I will normally do one full face application a week, and spot treatments for particularly bad areas. It does dry out my skin a little bit, but nothing a little facial scrub and moisterizer won't fix. I would recommend this product
