Guards and strengthens!

First, I love the smell and feel of it. It foams well when washing, and smells like something that would be used in the salon. Even my husband noticed and kept telling me how much he loved the smell of it!

The first day I used it we noticed results right away. My hair is currently bleached and toned and had been getting that golden/coppery look to it. One day of the shampoo/conditioner, and it was back to the nice, soft, cool blonde.

Within a couple of days, my hair was noticeably stronger. I have incredibly oily hair at the roots, and by the third day I noticed more even moisture throughout my hair. My roots weren't as oily and the ends weren't as dry.

I've been using it for just over a week now, and my only complaint is it has continued to dry out my hair further. Not to a point to be concerned, but I will recommend anyone with hair similar to mine use a hydrating shampoo/conditioner every few days to keep your hair nice and hydrated.

Super huge points--it has helped strengthen and rejuvenate my hair greatly. In just one week my hair is noticeably thicker--there is more strength to it and it naturally has more volume with minimal work. I will be buying this and using it regularly with my usual shampoo/conditioner.

Love it.

I love this shampoo. I have using it for months, my coloured hair stays vibrant longer and my hair always feels super clean after using it, but never stripped of moisture. I love how my hair feels and how it is actually less damaged.

Made my hair SO soft

GLISS Color Guard Shampoo made my hair so soft! I used this product for the color protection, but my wow factor was how soft this made my hair feel. My color stayed strong, no noticeable fading. Initially, i found the scent way too strong and masculine (like a strong cologne), but after a few washes the scent became non-issue, I really like how it makes my hair smell when my hair is dry. #gotitfree

Keeps my hair looking fresh for longer.

I am a huge fan of the conditioner that goes with this line. While I am not as excited by the shampoo it still does a good job. Hair feels clean and looks silky without it making your hair appear greasy or dirty quicker. Has a nice floral scent (at least I think it is floral.)

Bought this shampoo while on vacation, tried it and loved it

I bought this shampoo and conditioner while on vacation in the UK at Pound land! I couldn't believe that it was only 1£. The smell is very nice and leaves my hair nice clean and smooth. I don't notice very much washout of my fashion colours with this brand, which means my color lasts longer.

A little Color Guard Gliss goes a long way!

First off I got this item from ChickAdvisor to give my honest feedback so....#gotitfree here!
As mentioned in previous reviews, the product packaging is awesome! The color guard is something that is very important to me as I color my hair lots. Now it is purple (yep ...purple). After using this product the first thing I was drawn to is how little I had to use to feel the "clean". Also, not as much leakage of color versus my traditional color guard shampoo. I also my hair did not feel like straw after the shampoo! I have also found my color has "popped" again. I do use all the products (shampoo, conditioner & express leave in) together and found that to be the best fit to get that color to shine! I would definitely consider purchasing it. Although only when on sale. It is not "premium" enough for me to justify the cost of over $10 a bottle. That really is my only complaint.

I have been using this product for a few days now since I received it and even after the first use I could tell it made a difference in my hair. Right after I washed the shampoo out I noticed how soft my hair felt. You know how sometimes your hair just feels like wet hair and doesn't feel any smoother? This shampoo gives you the exact opposite feeling -- I love how clean my hair feels. Plus it also smells pretty great so that's a bonus.

I just colored my hair and loved trying out a new product on freshly colored salon hair.

I normally used Biolage but like to experiment with different products to test out feel, scent & effectiveness.

I was pleasantly surprised with the scent of the shampoo. It has a light floral scent, not too strong and the texture of the shampoo is creamy but cleansing at the same time. It left my hair feeling clean but it could have left it feeling slightly softer. The packaging is eye catching and it is good value for size of bottle for amount of product you get (only need to use small amount of product on hair). Overall it did the job well and I would purchase again for the right price

A New Favorite!!

I wasn't sure what to expect when trying out this shampoo but I was excited to try it for free. I must say, I was thoroughly impressed by it!! You don't need tons of shampoo to create a good lather so it's also economical. What I loved most about it was that it didn't leave my hair overly dry after rinsing that I couldn't run my fingers through, like other colour treatment shampoos have done in the past. Instead, the shampoo left my hair soft and supple. And it smells great!

Color Guard Carries the PERFECT Shield!

I recieved the Shwarzkopf Gliss Color Guard Shampoo as part of the #chickadvisorprc program courtesy of #GlissCanada. It arrived a day after I got freshly coloured (red) hair so it was the perfect time to try it out.
Where a normal shampoo would typically remove colour (and it would show up in the suds) there was very little traces of colour. The shampoo maintains gorgeous colour and creates a beautiful shine.
My new go-to colour-safe shampoo!
