The best 'to-go' cookies!
One of the only prepackaged cookies I have instantly loved. One day I wasn't feeling very good, I was a bit lethargic, so I snacked on a pack of these and instantly my spirit was lifted! Everything about these cookies is fun. They are cute, delicate, and satisfyingly delicious. Hmm if only there was a way to add some kind of nutritional value to them without altering the taste. Even so, they are good. P.S. I'm not usually a fan of real coconut, I don't enjoy toasted or shaved coconut, mainly due to it's texture. But these were mild yet strong enough to enjoy the pure taste of coconut, without being overpowering or nauseating, and no real coconut texture, just slight coconut flavor.
So good!
First few bites and you are hooked. Great texture and flavor! So good you just can't stop. Fun to share with the family and maybe a few friends if you feel like sharing
Mildly Sweet Tea Cookie- Good For Dipping
My grandma got me to try a pack of these after she had them and said they were delicious. Each pack comes with a reasonable amount of cookies, and the entire pack can be eaten for only approx. 200 calories. The cookies taste great dipped in tea or on their own. When dipped in tea, the cookies get soft but not overly so, meaning you don't need to worry about them falling into the tea. The cookies have an ever so mild coconut flavour that I wish was a bit stronger. These cookies are mildly sweet, for those who prefer less sweet biscuits. I would buy them again.
Mild Coconut Flavor
I had these coconut biscuits with tea. There are 11 or 12 biscuits in each portioned and individually packed package. The large package comes with I believe 12 individual packages. I bought it for $2 at a dollar store in Toronto. The biscuits without tea have a very basic tea biscuit taste. It has a nice crunch and a mild sweetness. The coconut taste is very mild. There is some sugar sprinkled on top which adds a mild crunch. If you dunk the biscuit in tea it brings the coconut flavour out and you can really taste it. The biscuit becomes soft but not soggy.
