Love this
This is a good book to get into reading thrillers. It was the first one I started with and I was hooked. The beginning is a little tough to get through, but once you do the story line is extremely gripping. You need that slow burn for all the twists to really leave their mark. I read this as an ebook but have bought a physical copy since I finished it because I liked it that much. Definitely worth the time. Don't give up in the beginning, I promise the end is worth it!
Best thriller!
I remember picking this book because of it's cover and did not expect much from this book. I love how there are so many twists and turns in the book. A must read book for thriller junkies.
SUCH A GOOD READ
I LOVED THIS BOOK. Gillian Flynn is a great author, and she is amazing at telling stories. I could not put this book down, I read it in a few hours. Love all of her books.
Yes!
It's a thriller in the best tradition of Alfred Hitchcock and layered with brilliantly written characters; it's the kind of book that's nearly impossible to put down. The surprises and twists keep the reader guessing up until the final page, and my first thought upon finishing the novel was that I wanted to read it a second time.
loved
Twisty like a pretzel, dark like unadulterated chocolate, and as compelling as a twisted car wreck, this thriller delivers! On their fifth anniversary, Nick and Amy's marriage implodes when Amy goes missing and Nick is hardly as distraught as he ought to be. Too much plot summary would detract from the pleasure of reading the book for yourself. Suffice it to say, this is one psychological mind bender accompanied by witty, incisive, laser beam writing
oh
oH THIS BOOK KEPT me in such suspense I loved it ...crazy crazy ...Who ever thought of this story wow ..I imagine it happening people are sometimes crazy lol
I read "Gone Girl", a long time ago. One thing I like to do, is to also see the movie to compare.
This book was so well written and really kept you guessing. About a husband of the year and the disappearance of his wife. Gillian Flynn did justice to this book.
I read Gone Girl before the movie came out I loved how the book really kept you thinking and wanting to know. It was an amazingly well written book that I couldn't put down and feeling for the characters. One of my favorites..
I read "Gone Girl" long before I knew there was going to be a movie. It was suggested to me on goodreads and since I love suspense thriller novels, I thought I'd give it a try. I loved it. I couldn't put it down. It was full of twists and turns and always kept me guessing. I loved to hate the main characters and have since read her other books. She's one of my favorite authors. Her writing style is superb.
I loved this book! The story has so many twists and turns, making it hard to put down. I would definitely recommend reading the book even if you have seen the movie because the book is even better than the movie - though it was one of the better on screen interpretations I have seen recently.
