Just ok
I tried these chocolate chip muffins free through chick advisor and although they are ok and we had them as free, we won't be purchasing them again. They are considered a healthy muffin therefore the added ingredients really make the calories high and the taste was ok but not fantastic. I find the regular price quite expensive for 4 ok muffins, so we won't be buying again.
Taste like homemade
These chocolate chip oatmeal muffins taste just like they where homemade, delicious!
Made with whole grains, rolled oats, real chocolate chips, no artificial colours or flavours. I really enjoyed the flavour and the presence of the oats in the muffin and the addition of the chocolate chips made it just sweet enough.
It is a bit pricey for a box of 4 but I would most likely some again as a treat.
Thank you Chick Advisor for giving me the opportunity to try something I might not have purchased when shopping on my own!
These muffins are compact and individually packaged to make a great snack to take on the road, whether on a road trip or when you're rushing to work. This works extremely well for me as a breakfast snack on the go, since I rarely sit down and eat breakfast.
The first muffin I ate, I had to check the box twice, I couldn't believe that these were healthy and tasted so good.
The chocolate chips give a burst of sweetness, that it takes what should sound bland and makes it taste great.
The only down side is that the retail price of these and the amount you get (4) does make it a little on the higher end for a snack, but would be a nice treat.
Fun Chocolatey Snack
I tried these Good & Simple chocolate chip oatmeal muffins for the first time today (c/o the Review Club) and I really liked them. The balance of oatmeal and chocolate makes for a sweet but substantial snack that doesn't feel like junk food. They're individually wrapped which is nice because it makes them more portable and I can totally see myself taking these to the gym or work. Definitely recommend.
Just ok
I received this product as a ChickAdvisor trial sample. It's not bad for a store-bought baked good, better than others I have tried on the market. The muffin was surprisingly moist, but it was incredibly crumbly and messy. They come individually wrapped, which must help with keeping them moist. There was a decent ratio of chocolate chips throughout the muffin, but I feel that for the nutritional value (300 calories for this little muffin?) they could have done a lot more. If I'm basically having a meal's worth of calories in a snack, I want a meal's worth of chocolate in it, and at $1.25 each, it's a bit pricey for what you get. I'm sure it ticks the box for some people, but I probably won't go out of my way to purchase this one in the future.
Just Ok.
These muffins were just Ok for me. My husband enjoyed them more than me. I found them to be a little bit too sweet for my liking. They did crumble a lot, however they were moist and the one thing I liked about them is that they were individually packaged. They do retail for 4.99 but I suggest you wait until they are on sale for 2.99 if you want to give them a try.
Glad I bought these!
I was chosen to review 2 other Good and Simple products and picked this one up as well. I'm glad I did because they are delicious! I do find all the products a little bit sweet but I am really careful about sugar so others might not notice it. The chocolate chip and oatmeal combo is moist, tender and substantial. The price might seem high ($5.00 for 4 muffins) but a lot of people pay more for that for 4 garbage muffins from Tim Hortons - these are made with decent ingredients and aren't needlessly oversized.
They didn't do much for me..
This is the second Good &Simple;product I have tried. These muffins came pre-packaged in a box of 4 for $3.50. I found this product to be dry and dense. It wasn't filling and halfway I was done with trying to eat it. The flavour was bland.
The display at the store was nice and had a great variety and stock of products on the shelf.
Unfortunately I wouldn't buy these in the future. They didn't do much for me (not filling and high in sodium).
*I got these for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Review Club #gotitfree
A good healthy snack for a sweets craving
Pleasantly surprised by this item! I love carbs and sugar (who doesn't!), but try to avoid heavier snacks like muffins because I end up crashing from the sugar and feeling uncomfortably full after eating it.
This was a really tasty snack, and not overly sweet. I was happy to read the ingredients and definitely would purchase again. Also, my husband loved them!
Enjoyed Good and Simple muffins
We were directed to try the Good and Simple Chocolate Chip Oatmeal muffins. Picked these up at Freshco, with full value coupons

These muffins were quite good, moist and convenient to just grab on our way out the door, cause they are individually wrapped
My teenager liked them - good taste (loves chocolate chip anything) & didnt fuss about the sprinkling of oatmeal on top.. although I loved the extra fibre content
