Simple Maybe...
I received a coupon from the Chic Adivsor product review club to try the Good and Simple Cholate Chip Oatmeal Muffins and thank goodness I didn't pay for them!
With barely any flavour these muffins were starchy and mealy with a chemical after-taste and after getting through one of them for the purpose of this review the remaining 3 from the package were thrown into the garbage.
I hate giving bad reviews to products (especially when I get them for free) but if I can save someone a few bucks by telling my honest opinion then I will do what I have to do.
They didn't do much for me..
This is the second Good &Simple;product I have tried. These muffins came pre-packaged in a box of 4 for $3.50. I found this product to be dry and dense. It wasn't filling and halfway I was done with trying to eat it. The flavour was bland.
The display at the store was nice and had a great variety and stock of products on the shelf.
Unfortunately I wouldn't buy these in the future. They didn't do much for me (not filling and high in sodium).

Sorely Disappointed
I was really excited to try this product because I absolutely LOVE chocolate chip oatmeal muffins! So, I was incredibly disappointed in these ones.
I love that they are individually packaged and perfect for on the go. I also like that they're not overly sweet.
But...I found them to be pretty dry leading to an odd texture/slightly bitter taste. The taste is so similar to those really cheap multi-packs I buy at the supermarket/you get at hotel continental breakfasts.
Overall, it's an okay muffin, but nothing special, and certainly not worth the price. I would not recommend these to a friend that I like.
Thankfully, I #gotitfree
I dislike this product on so many levels
I feel bad giving a product such a low review but I'll explain the many reasons behind why I think this is not a good product.
1. When I received the coupon, it said I could redeem it at FreshCo and Metro stores. I had to go to three different stores just to find this product (found the bars elsewhere). Each store I went to had a big empty shelf and just 1 box of either muffins or bars (never the kind I needed) and the Best Before dates were for 1-2 days later. So I am not sure if I just was searching at a bad time or if selection is always poor which affects shelf-life and freshness.
2. The muffins are individually packaged which I actually like because if I were to get a product like this it would likely be for "on-the-go" situations where I need something fast. So that's a plus for me. However, for those who are hyper eco-conscious, this product would likely not appeal as each individual muffin is packaged and then subsequently packaged inside a box.
3. I am a dietitian, so naturally one of the first things I look for is the nutrition facts table. I. Was. Appalled. For a product which boasts that it is "good and simple" and obviously caters to the more health-conscious shopper I found it ridiculous that the second ingredient is sugar, that the fibre content is a pathetic 3g per muffin. For comparison: a Multi-grain berry muffin from McDonald's has the same amount of calories as this muffin and 6g (DOUBLE) the fibre. So...yea, not even as healthy as a fast-food muffin, what does that tell you?
4. Another bummer was that I could not for the life of me find a website for this company. I wanted to look up the brand and the products before hand and nothing popped up when I searched "Good and Simple" in google...just a picture of the box from Walmart.ca. I don't know about you, but I like to peruse the websites for products that I am interested in.
5. Taste...honestly, I was hoping this could be this product's saving grace. At least if it isn't good for you, it better be a DELICIOUS item that you can treat yourself to. But alas, no. The visual appeal was weak, it kind of has that sticky, shiny top that old muffins that have been sitting in a container on your counter can get. It kind of just tasted like a mediocre muffin you would get at a budget conference you are attending for work. Again, this is maybe because I got a box that was due to expire in a couple of days so it could simply be that it WAS an old stale muffin.
Overall, NOPE.
