Really yummy
#gotitfree
While these bars a bit pricier than what I normally spend on a granola bar, they were tasty. They were a bit hit in my household. I really enjoyed the flavour of the bars and liked the soft chewy texture. Its great to have the brightness of citrus in a bar, it's just a change from the usual flavours available. I liked that they were individually wrapped because it makes travelling with them easier. Likely will repurchase and try the other flavours.
Soft Snack Bar
I received this product for free from ChickAdvisor to review it.
The Cranberry Orange + Flax bar was soft, chewy and fresh. The first bite of the bar had a great orange taste but after that, I could not really taste the orange or cranberries. There is no artifical taste to the bar, which is nice. I would have this bar occasionally as a snack. I would recommend the bar if you are looking for a soft, chewy bar.
Looking for something different to snack on?
When I saw that I was sampling Cranberry - Orange flax bars, I have to admit I wasn't excited. But that changed as soon as I took my first bite... soft and moist, it was a flavour burst. The orange flavour is very subtle and balances nicely with the cranberry. All in all a great product, that I will definitely buy again. If I didn't get the sample, I would never have tried it. So glad I #gotitfree . Thanks Good & Simple!
It was ok, I prefer their muffins
The taste was alright, value, in my opinion I think they were ok, but the bars were very small to just eat one. Too much plastic I thought, maybe to preserve the flavour and freshness, but would prefer a more natural packaging.
Looking forward to trying the other wonderful flavours!!
I was lucky enough to be selected to try the Good & Simple Cranberry Orange + Flax Bars and was quite excited to try these as I like to make sure my kids are getting healthy snacks. The box comes with 5 individually wrapped bars for $4.99 at Metro, so a bit pricey at $1/bar, but worth it. These bars have a nice pronounced orange flavour, and the dried cranberries give it a nice chew. Our 2 boys said they would definitely want these again. Hubby and I agreed these would be a greet on the go breakfast snack. I like that there are no preservatives, and that the ingredients are all recognizable. Overall, I think we would buy these again, especially if they go on sale. I look forward to trying the other flavours.
Even my fussy kid likes them
Took awhile to find them at Metro but finally did in the produce section. They are delicious and at only 150 calories they are perfect treats. We had them for desert today. Cost at metro is $4.99 so hard sell when the bakery cookies are on sale for $3.99! But I feel way less guilty eating these and since they are individually packaged I wouldn't eat six of them like I would cookies. These would be fantastic to pack on the go.
was ok
The positive was these bars were easy to find in the bakery section at Metro. I found the bars dry, I didn't really like the taste of them, maybe the other flavours would have tasted better.
Good soft bar, but...
They are a very nice alternative to boxed bars because of the soft texture and option to heat for a fresh baked taste. But the cost is high. $5 for 5 bars is a little steep for a family of 4 where everyone would eat them. Alternatively I could bake a pan of bars for less.. and while the individual packages are good for travel the waste is concerning as well as the short shelf life.
I'm planning on having these as a snack often!!
These cranberry, orange and flax bars are delicious. They almost taste homemade. I love the size.. .just enough to cover a sweet craving with something good for you!!! There's 2gm of fibre per bar which is good. I will definitely try the other flavours
I would buy this product again
These bars were easy to find in tje bakery section at Metro. They had all the different flavors.
I liked the taste of the bars and it was a good consistancy. The unusual taste makes me want to buy more.
