I couldn't believe these kits! It is definitely worth the money since the meal kit includes everything you need except for the utensils and cooking oils. Its a life saver when you open the fridge every day and can't figure out what to make!
Although GoodFood doesn't have meal kit options for a 3 person family, I still recommend it!

Best One Ever

We've tried almost every meal delivery kit that is available in Canada, and nothing beats Good Food. From the high-quality ingredients to the creative recipes, we have yet to get bored with our meals. It has now been a year of consistently receiving a box every week and there have been almost no repeats in recipes. There is always a massive selection to choose from, and everything arrives in great condition. Highly recommend.

I Get My Box Every Week

I have always loved to cook, but struggled with my creativity and had trouble with portion sizes when it came to shopping so often food would be wasted.
I tried GoodFood expecting it to be a one-off, but was so pleasantly surprised that I am on my 3rd box and still love it! We look forward to dinner every night, and I love the variety of meals there are to choose from.
With an average cost of $78CAD/Week for 4 meals (2 portions) I would definitely say it is worth it!

So convenient

It might be a little more expensive than a regular grocery trip but it's totally worth the extra couple bucks a meal. The recipes are very easy to follow and the meals look and taste sofisticated. Something that would be way more complicated than it actually is.
I love coming home from work and not having to worry about what to make for dinner and if I have all the ingredients.

Not for us

To be honest this service was not for us. While the meals where things we would not normally make a home and did allow us to try new options. None of them were really anything we would want to try again. There were multiple weeks where none of the meal options appealed to us and with a seafood allergy in the house, it made our options even less.

Great option for those on the go

I like the concept of this service. I had the option of getting a free box so I choose two vegan recipes and two pescetarian recipes. The one we had tonight was Maple-Sesame Soba Noodles. I really appreciate how everything was prepared and portioned to the exact amount needed for the recipe so there is no waste. They provide clear and easy to follow recipes including the amount of time it takes to cook.

Concept: Each week you choose which recipes you want (new recipes each week) and they send you the kit with exactly what you need for each recipe. If you don't see any recipes that you want you can skip a week. You only pay when you choose recipes to be delivered.

The only drawback is that it can be kind of expensive unless this is the only groceries that you purchase. The good thing is that you can skip up to several weeks at a time and only pay when you're ready.

I would suggest that people at least try it out if even for the exposure to different foods that you normally would think to try. I like it and will definitely keep my subscription.

The box was delivered on the day they said it would come and packed perfectly, All meat is under a frozen bag and color tagged, the packages for each meal were in individual bags and color code to meat. Instructions to prepare food had pictures and written instructions, what and how to cut, chop, when to cook it, It was all step by step. The meals were are tasty , pleasing to the eye on the plate and great size portions. I would do the box subscription again ... the price on product is fair considering what you get,

J'ai essayé GoodFood durant 2 semaines lors d'une promotion reçu de GoodFood! Les instructions sont clair, les produits sont de bonne qualité et les recette sont délicieuses! Par contre, je trouve que ce service est un petit peu cher à plein prix, mais la viande est sincèrement de qualité tout comme le reste de la boite. Je crois donc que le prix supplémentaire payé pour obtenir cette boite directement devant la porte de sa maison n'est pas si exagéré!
