First off, I received the GOSH Mineral Powder to try for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. With the legal out of the way, I have to say that I've never used a mineral powder before, and was a bit hesitant. The review? I loved it! It was easy to use, matched my skin tone, and more importantly, didn't look like mime paint when I was finished!
I received the GOSH Mineral Powder to try for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I am pretty specific about my mineral powder and other face make up and have been using the same brand for years. I do not generally purchase loose powder as I find it gets everywhere and is not quite as effective. I did find that the product was messy and I don’t think I had the right brush for it (maybe a powder puff would have been better). I did like using the GOSH Mineral Powder to reduce shine and even out my look all over but probably would not purchase it again in the future. I would recommend it to people who need a quick touch up on the go.
I did receive a shade for review purposes that was too dark for me but just used it lightly over my makeup. I found this to be a very messy product to use. Also, I found it left me looking powdery and it accentuated my dry patches of skin.
I first tried using the powder all over my face, but I found it was cakey near my mouth. Once I only applied it to my T zone, it was nicer looking. It was pretty effective at managing oily buildup on my face.
I loved this mineral powder, covered just enough, got rid of any shine and didn't clog pores or feel heavy. A great product at an excellent price! Great for dusting or completing your make up look, I think it helps to hold it as well.
Overall I am pleased with the final look of GOSH's Mineral Powder on my skin. It has great coverage that gives me an even toned, matte skin look. That said, I do have a few concerns.
While the container is large the powder only takes up about a third of the container. Second, the product doesn't come with an applicator. I ended up using a cheap little blush brush I had lying around and found that if I was not careful and put too much product on the brush I would get a caked on area of powder on my skin that did not easily blend in. Lastly, I found that if I looked close up at my skin every little crack in my skin became visible with the powder on it was not visible it pre-powder.
Will I buy this product again? Not sure, I guess it depends on how long the minimal amount in the jar will last me.
I received this product for testing purposes from ChickAdvisor's Product Review Club #GOSHGoddess
Thank-you to @chickadvisor for sending me this to test and review. I LOVE how well this works, it is the best I have ever tried. It feels light and covers really well. I highly recommend this.
I was very impressed by the Gosh Mineral Powder. I'm not much for using powder as I have even toned skin. The mineral powder was a revelation to me. A whole new category of makeup. The powder is packaged nicely in a pot with a little holed dispenser so it doesn't go everywhere. It goes on easily, and blends very well. It lasts all day and most importantly isn't shiny. I will continue to use this for a long time.
I received the product from #Gosh and ChickAdvisor as a #Goshgoddess. This is my honest opinion.
First off thank you #ChickAdvisor for allowing me to try this product. #GOSHGoddess.
I didn't think this product would compare very well to my Mac Makeup (compact) and was a little concerned with the powder and that it would spill on to my clothes. I purposely wore a black top to see if this would pass the spillage test.
Glad to say. I would most likely try this product again. Tone was perfect, went on nice and smooth with the brush. No spillage and very natural looking. A winner in my book
