I dont wear much power but this particular powder is quite beautiful. It is not heavy or cakey and leaves a beautiful light finish that really lasts through out the day. My nose can get quite shiny through out the day but after I used this I didnt see shine at all. I used it as a setting power over my foundation but it also provides great build-able coverage if you do not wear foundation. It is long wearing and doesnt settle in fine lines either.

To really make this mineral powder work for you and avoid the trouble blending/becoming chalky other reviewers noticed at times, you need to do some skin prep beforehand. I recommend making sure your face is clean, moisturized, and primed with a facial primer so that it blends evenly into your skin. This also isn't a product you should just apply with your fingers. A fuzzy make up pad (not a sponge) worked best for me as well as rotating in small round circles as I applied it. Overall, not a bad product at all, but definitely something you should apply in a specific way for best results.

This was my first time using a powder! I really enjoyed it and found it easy to apply with a brush!

Pros: Great coverage (if you use a proper kabuki brush), long-lasting, matte texture, buildable.
Cons: A tad more drying than Bare Minerals.

I typically use Bare Minerals powder and I feel that this is a great "drug store equivalent" that I feel comfortable using in place of BM. The shade I received was surprisingly (and coincidentally) a better colour match for my skin than the two shades of BM that I usually use.

I received this product for free as a GoshGoddess Chick Advisor tester. When I first received this product, I thought it would be too dark, but it matched my skintone perfectly. It has great wear-life and lasted throughout the day with little to no touch-ups required. I was really happy with this product, especially since I normally don't like mineral powders. This is something I think I will continue to wear and use!

So first I want to start by saying I was quite impressed by the cute compact packaging, with rotating open and close feature, which helps to prevent loss of product. Although this was a nice feature I think it would have been easier to apply to the brush if a proper brush was enclosed with the packaging. I found while using a mineral brush of my own it seemed to apply an uneven amount of product onto the brush, as the shape was quite different. needs it's own brush.

The product itself applied beautifully with minimal transfer. I have tried many different mineral powders and the majority of them are quite heavy or cakey, which is never appealing nor comfortable. It has great coverage and blends seamlessly to the skin. Great worn on its own to even out skin tone or atop your favourite concealer/ foundation as a setting powder.

I had never tried mineral powder before this.I got this item to review from the beauty product club. This mineral powder is very light weight and easy to wear. It has very light coverage though. Overall it's a good product to have on hand if you're in a hurry and want to look polished, just use with some eyeliner and lipgloss and you're good to run out the door.

I'm really not too sure how I feel about this product. The only reason is the powder that I received didn't match my skin tone very well in my trial package. So, when I applied it, it looked quite chalky against my skin. I did like the feel of it as it didn't feel too drying like other powders I have tried in the past. I also liked the packaging. It was easy to pick up just the right amount on my brush and apply - leaving the rest to fall back into the container without wasting it down the sink. I would really need to try a colour that matches my olive tone to say whether or not I would continue to use this particular product.

It goes on well and I like the powder and the way it feels on the face. I just find it a little bit too light for me. It seems a little dusty or chalky.
It might be better in the Winter when I am not sweating at all.

I'm not normally one to wear a lot of powder on my face or foundation for that matter because I can't stand the feeling of my face being weighed down, but I tried GOSH Mineral Powder over the weekend and was pleasantly surprised. Its very light weight! The color was absolutely perfect for my complexion also, so I was really happy when it came in the mail. In fact, every piece of makeup I was given to try was perfect for my skin tone. I wore it all weekend and it gave a nice matte finish without looking like I had circus makeup on. It was barely noticeable and I didn't feel it on my face at all which is what I wanted. Anyway, I gave this product an average rating because I couldn't locate the original cost in Canadian dollars but I wouldn't spend anymore than $10 on this. In fact, I would price it at around $7-$8. The packaging is ok, not overly fancy but attractive enough to the eye for a mineral powder.
I really liked this product!!
