I received this product as part of the gosh goddess campaign. This was a product I was very much looking forward to trying, but was left disappointed. I found the powder to be to chalky and did not blend well with my skin. I normally wear a liquid foundation and a light dusting of loose powder to set and when I used this product as I normally would it just didn't work well for me. I tried a few methods for applying brush, sponge powder poof and all left me will the same results. I will be passing on this and sticking to my usual brand :(
I was super excited to receive this product for free to review from ChickAdvisor.
I use mineral powder on a daily basis to finish my make up off however I found that the GOSH mineral powder was too heavy and left my face feeling like I had a pile of make up on it. I found that the product was not translucent enough. I found that the container it came in was a little messy. There was either too much or too little powder.
I would not purchase this product again or recommend it to a friend.
was light feeling, smooth. But there was no coverage at all. I don't wear heavy make-up and this met that but no coverage I found my face was even shinier while wearing the mineral powder
I received GOSH Mineral Powder #004 as part of the Product Review Club. The GOSH product is a loose powder which is intended to provide a "medium to full coverage and a matt flawless look". It is advertised as being very light and "easy to blend into the skin".
I wasn't impressed with this product, and that was disappointing because I was so excited to try a mineral powder (as I use a mineral foundation). After initially applying it over my face, I found that the #004 was too white for my face (especially in the summer) and made me look extremely pale. I also didn't feel that it didn't provide as much coverage as was advertised - the powder actually emphasized any lines/scars/creases/blemishes on my face. I have continued to use this product not for coverage on my face, but as a highlighter for my eyes - it provides a nice, neutral base to apply eye make-up and I use it to highlight/contour the area underneath my eyebrows!
As for the container, I did appreciate that it had a revolving lid inside ("spinner") to lessen the opportunity for mess or loss of the mineral powder; however, I had difficulty getting enough of the powder out of the bottom container. I had to leave the spinner open, close the container, flip it upside down, and re-open it so I could have enough powder to use when applying it to my face. I would highly recommend that this container be revisited as it was difficult to access enough of the mineral powder when trying to apply it.
I did receive a shade for review purposes that was too dark for me but just used it lightly over my makeup. I found this to be a very messy product to use. Also, I found it left me looking powdery and it accentuated my dry patches of skin.
I was given the Gosh Mineral Powder to review! I did not like this product I didnot find it covered well at all and my skin broke out in a rash. I tried it twice and the same thing happened again. It had a strong smell to it. I also didnt like the fact that it did not come with a brush. I thought it would have been a lot more convient if it had of included a make up brush.
I received this product free from ChickAdvisor as part of the review club.
Was disappointed in this product. While it was nice and light, it went on too white and too powdery when applied. I felt like a ghost!
I received this powder from the Chick Advisor Product Review Club.
I liked the container including the 'spinner' inside to lessen the opportunity for mess. I was saddened by the lack of applicator. I found this powder a bit difficult to apply evenly. Though it feels very light it didn't last long on my face before my face started looking greasy. I have combination skin and I feel that may be why it didn't work out so well for me. #GoshGoddess
For the most part I dislike all loose powers and this one was worse. The color had a yellowish tone to it and for m just didn't suit. It was way too sheer for my liking so found it was having nothing on at all. Maybe it would be good to set a base foundation but as for coverage nothing.
This Mineral Powder goes on heavy, almost cakey so the trick is to have a great brush and blend, blend, blend. The coverage was good if you are looking for a full coverage powder, but the "matte finish" left my skin looking dry and dull.
