I received this product free as part of the Product Review Club. Because the product is a white powder which turns clear when applied, it is difficult to know where you have already put it on your face. In general, I did not see a reduction in oiliness throughout the day or a difference after I applied my makeup to set it. In fact, if anything this product made me break out and I do not have acne prone skin. I would definitely not recommend this product to a friend and would not buy it. #goshgoddess

I received this product via ChickAdvisor's product review club. I have been using this as both a primer and to set my makeup. I found this product to be excellent! As a primer, I found that it was able to smooth my skin so that makeup application (I use a liquid foundation) was easier. As a setter, I thought it was great in that my face was less shiny and more matte. I also really liked the packaging. After using other powders similar to this and making big messes, I was happy to see that the packaging kept things clean. No more powder all over my makeup vanity! I will definitely be buying this again and will be recommending to others.

I have combination skin and found that this product went on cakey on my skin. The packaging is a bit messy but easy to use as it only requires a bit of buffing with a powder brush. Colour was a nice match (I have it in 004 Natural). The product is advertised to give medium to full coverage but I found that it was more of a light coverage, so depending on your intended use, bear this in mind. Finish was matte but did not look natural on my skin type.

I received GOSH Prime 'n Set Powder from ChickAdvisor for review. My skin felt great when I am using this product. Powder is applied evenly without spots. It doesn't dry my skin and doesn't display minor peeling and skin problems. Also, it doesn't give me any allergy. I would definitely recommend this product to everyone.

This was amazing and actually takes away the shine, at least for me with horrid shiny skin full of imperfections this worked amazing and i am def going to be buying this again. i received this as part of gosh's campaign #goshgoddess it goes on smooth and last forever and i would have to say it above average if compared to drugstore brands

Great product. It was light weight so it was very easy to apply and remove. I had no issues with this powder and I did not break out. For the price, it is just as good any brands I had used in the past.

I tried this product with liquid foundation and I was totally impressed with how well it worked. It covered up many more flaws than the foundation on it's own and I could definitely see the difference around my eyes. It was helpful at keeping shine down and helped the makeup last longer.

I think it is great that this product can be used as both a primer and to set makeup. I preferred to use this more as a primer than to set makeup since I found that the white powder showed on my skin (apply sparingly). I still prefer liquid primers over this powered primer to help with moisture.

I recieved the Gosh prime n set product for free to review as part of the product review club. This product is great, after I applying it kept my skin feeling oil free and my make up looking intact and fresh. I tried it both under liquid foundation and after my make up was on. Impressively, it did its job and I am sold! Finally, it kept unwanted shine away. Love the twist and seal container as it saves it from spilling out everywhere because you DO NOT want to loose any of this!

It applies like a dream, super smooth & even. However when applied as a setting powder, when you get under the right kind of light, you will see hints of that white cast. A little goes a LONG way, so be careful not to over use this, apply it very sparingly.
It does perform well at keeping skin matte for at least 4 hours (depending how oily your skin is). If applied under powder foundation, it will even out the texture of your skin for a flawless application (unless you have very dry, chapped skin). It will not minimize pores in the slightest (but it definitely won’t make them appear larger).
Now I did notice I had a minor breakout after testing this product as a primer for a couple days. My skin has been pretty clear this year, and while I can’t be completely sure it’s at fault, you may want to test it on a smaller area at first if you’re acne prone.
