It is a great primer.
I hate weird texture of other primers.
This one being a powder, you don't get that.

I am super diggin' how matte this powder is! It seriously makes my skin look beautiful and pale, just the way I like it! Glides on smoothly and makes my skin feel like silk.

When I first read the product description- a powder that can be used as both a primer and setting powder- I didn't think it would be right for my skin type- at least for use as a primer. You see, I have skin that tends to be on the drier side, so my skin prep pre-foundation is all about hydration. That said, I just didn't think a powder would be the best option. Buuut, after trying this, I was pretty impressed! I won't be able to use it when my skin is in it's driest state, but on normal skin days, this works well to prep skin for makeup as it does smooth skin an blur the look of pores. It can also be used to set foundation, and also blurs the appearance of pores and imperfections while setting makeup and giving a soft, semi-matte finish that is quite natural. I really love the product, as it's finely milled and reminds me quite a lot of other translucent powders that sell for a lot more.

I liked this product becase you can use it as a primer, even on bare skin, when you feel like you dont want to wear any makeup today bout it would be so nice if i could hide some of those nasty pores. This primer works like a blur, and makes my face more radiant. On top of makeup is nice too, because it takes the shine away..

With combination skin, it can be tough to find a product that helps keep those oily spots matte. The GOSH Prime 'n Set Powder comes in a small container but does require a brush to apply. The only thing I dislike about loose powder is how messy it gets, which makes it hard to apply on the go. I do like how lightweight the powder is and how soft it appears. It doesn't seem to last the whole day, but is easy to touch up if needed. I love products that are 2-in-1, and this one acts as a primer, as well as a setting powder for your makeup.

I received this product for free thanks to Chick Advisor Product Review Club! I used this product following moisturizer with a powder brush. I felt as if my skin was silky and smooth. I honestly thought it would wipe away as I applied foundation, but I noticed a big difference when i finished applying it. After the completion of my make-up I used this product as a setting powder. I found that it gave my face more of a polished look without interfering. As I struggle with oily skin, this has really helped me through out the day, I now keep it in my purse for the "just in case" purpose.

I'm always on the lookout for the latest and greatest to keep my oily skin at bay. I usually have to blot multiple times a day no matter what mattifying product I use. This powder is great (love the multi-purpose factor in that it can be both a primer and a setting powder). The packaging can get a little messy since it's a loose powder and you do need a separate brush for application, which means it's not super easy to take on the go/throw in your purse. I found that the powder looked good when first applied (no white cast despite the powder's colour) though I did have to blot throughout the day anyway. This is common for me with most powders anyway due to my oily skin so I won't hold it against this product!
