I've used this powder both as a primer underneath my regular foundation, and as a way to reduce shine on my face with no additional powders or foundations. I found it light, and effective in both cases. I hate the feeling of heavy products on my face, and I wear sunscreen everyday. I found this powder helped deal with some of the unevenness and shine the sunscreen leaves on my face and was so light, it didn't feel like I Was wearing anything else on my face. LOVE!

I received this free as part of the #GoshGoddess campaign from the ChickAdvisor's Product Review Club. This product is supposed to be able to be used as both a primer and as a setting powder. I have fairly pale skin so this works well for me other than it's very messy. As a primer I don't feel like it did that much since I usually only use primers when I need another moisturizing product on my face. As a setting powder it works well though, just don't use it while wearing a black shirt you plan on wearing for the day.

I received the GOSH Prime 'n Set Powder from Chick Advisor for review purposes. I have very little to say about this product. One thing I did like was the packaging. I like that you can turn the top to dispense the amount of product you want. Application was fine. It seemed to set my foundation without issue. A good drugstore purchase.

I am a little torn on how I feel about this product even after using a few days in a row. I really like how smooth, soft it made my skin. (Even blurred lines, large pores) But it didn't keep me very matte all day. My face still got shiny through out the day. So in that respect I will still use my regular matte powder. But I liked the smoothing and the primer aspect of it. My eye shadows went on really nicely after applying and same with my blush. So I might use it just as makeup primer if it goes on sale sometimes?

I received this product as part of the ChickAdvisor's Product Review Club. The GOSH Prime 'n Set is a two in one powder that claims to be both a face primer and a mattifying setting powder. So far, my experience with face primers has been in gel, cream or liquid form. This being the first powdered primer I have used, I was a little skeptical at first since powders are usually used to set you makeup, not to be placed under your foundation. The powder is finely milled and very light colored and it goes on translucent when applied to your skin. People with darker skin tones may find it a little ashy, in my opinion, but on my fair skin, it blended in nicely. I found that as a primer, it worked best on my oiliest sections like the T-zone. It did work well to cover pores and fine lines. However, on my driest areas like my cheeks, it did create some slight dry patches. I would therefore use it only in the oiliest areas as a primer. As a setting powder, it worked wonderfully. My makeup lasted the whole day and my T-zone still looked mattified to me. The product did not make my face itchy and I do appreciate that it does not contain parabens. You get 7 grams of product which is a good amount and the adjustable sifter is easy to work with. There was some loose powder on top of the sifter when I initially opened the jar, but after I used that up, it was fine.

I received the GOSH Prime 'n' Set Primer & Mattifying Setting Powder free as part of the #GoshGoddess campaign. After using this product I don't think it's a product that would suit those with dry skin, who would most likely benefit from something more hydrating. I also found this one did to cling to dry areas of my skin.
