Interesting!

I've never tried a product like this before. The powder feels similar to a dry shampoo spray product. It was hard to notice how it created more volume in my hair since I usually wear my hair in a ponytail, but after letting my hair out, it definitely appeared to be more voluminous than before. It is definitely an interesting product that I want to explore further.

Not quite magical, but helps get the job done

I was excited to try this product, as I recalled having a hairstylist use something similar on a bridesmaid hairstyle I sported a few years ago. This styling product was a bit different in that it was in a talc-like, powder form, very similar to dry shampoo powder, like Lush's No Drought. Thankfully and despite my brown hair, this product didn't appear white once it was totally mixed in. I did have some difficulty applying it in the manner the packaging recommended- it may be that my hands were too moist, but I found more of the powder stuck to my palms than actually made it in to my hair. Similar to dry shampoo powder, this may be best applied by shaking a bit directly to the roots. In terms of lift, I did notice a bit of a difference but nothing dramatic. I suppose it was better at actually maintaining the volume throughout the day, compared to going without. I feel I could take or leave this product- it's not a diehard essential, but is a nice addition to the hair styling repertoire if you have it.

I would buy this product again

I really enjoyed this product. It holds up really well to some of the more expensive volumizing powders, I have tried in the past. I would add the powder to the roots of my hair and then tease with a tail comb for more of a volume effect. The product lasted all day and I never lost any volume. With my hair that’s a hard thing too do, as I have lots of hair but it’s thin and very healthy. The only thing negative I would have to say is if you get some on your skin vs you hair by accident, it is sticky. Other than that, I have no complaints. I would definitely recommend it to a friend and still be purchasing more in the future. Thank you Chick Advisor for letting me try this product for free.

Too sticky

I personally do not like this product very much, it is very sticky when applied to my hands then the hair. I tried adding some to the hair directly, but the effect was the exact same. It produces the volume, but I can’t get over the sticky texture it adds to my hair. I probably would not use this again.

I love it.

Oh my God... this product is absolutely great!! I have very fine thin hair but no volume... my hair tends to get very oily and goes really flat. I used this product on my third day post hair wash and I am very happy with this product it really does lift up the volume.... although I would advise you to put the product directly to your scalp and quickly massage it for more volume. It does have a great scent and really does fresh up the hair. I love this product

Not worth it

I tried this product numerous times but never got great results. Powder is kinda greasy and never gave my hair a good lift and left it looking dirty or with residue leftover

Great effectiveness for the price!

I've used volumizing powders before and this got2b one feels very different. The first time I used it I followed the directions and put the powder in my hands first, which I didn't like. My hands felt yucky and it was hard to transfer the product into my hair. The next time I just sprinkled it directly into my hair, lightly massaged then used my teasing comb. It worked so great! It gives SO much texture and hold. It's great for more intense hair styles and for going out.

Didn't love......

i didnt really love this powder,would probbaly work for thicker hair but mine is fine so it didnt really do anything and basically just left white marks in my hair

Good product

I definitely did like this product better then the hairspray from the same line. It had a great smell and it was definitely effective in creating volume to your hair. Would buy again! And you really don’t need a lot so it will last forever

Hairspray in a powder

I received this powder from chickadvisor! It was interesting for me I’m not crazy with my hair but I did enjoy using this volumizing powder, to me it’s like hairspray in a powder!! I didn’t like the feel of it in my hair but it definitely held and helped with volume!! Definitely would use if I did more with my hair
